Just know there are people that just love to hate anyone who does well because... they are losers. Great unique design... Hope to see it finished.

Thanks and so true, not everyone takes the time and energy to follow their dreams, much easier to sit at your computer and be critical of others!

My husband and I have been building a 2 storey ICF house in B.C. Canada for the last 2 years. It's a struggle at times though there is such pride when you know you did it. Keep going!

Beautiful work! I loved watching that 17 minutes compilation! Job well done!!

Thanks so much!! We had way too many questions on the video, it was too much to answer and they just kept coming, love and hate comments in all. Since it was just a review of all we did to complete the structure. I will make another soon on the whole project but will add more talking and information. Next video is out tomorrow, all about landscaping, we had a busy summer!!

It's your house and all that matters is if you are happy with it. The outside framing makes perfect sense in the climate zone you live in. The critics just want something to complain. Love the family time with the family and oh I also love the oak front door. Timeless.

I take care of my mother and love what your doing but can’t imagine how I could ever do something so extravagant I’d like to have a20x40 and that as a caregiver on disability is out of reach, I can Dream though, happy mothers day

Thanks for watching, it isn’t a home for everyone and I appreciate your honest opinion . We are building it ourselves, we would never be able to afford it if we didn’t do it this way. The journey is half the fun, it isn’t all about the building as much as it is about building together with our children. Hope all is well with your mother, family is what really matters.

Oh my, I had a small panic attack there, saw the thumbnail for the video but misread the title (I skipped over the word ALMOST). Thankfully everything is ok, glad you had a break. Loving the house build and can't wait to see the end result.

I think you are doing a great and awesome build! Smart idea to have the wood frame on the outside, as well the spray foam! But I was wondering if you are saving money with using the containers in the building design? Or is there another reason for the containers, like style. You did mention that you liked that, but was that the only reason? Just wondering? Great job!!

I'm not sure but I think that maybe Andrew Camarata's home may be a little bit bigger than yours. He built a castle.

If I have one recommendation on filming maybe cut down the amount of time filming yourself while you walk. It can be harsh on the eyes as most background stuff is moving around and not in focus

You'll get there, the worst is over and you are waaayyy past half way. All downhill freewheeling from here. Nothing wrong with big if it's what you wanted. The question I ask people is are you going to live here two years or twenty? If it's two then it's a lick of paint and move on, if it's twenty then its worth doing things the way you want them. I knew when I moved to MN at the tinder age of 16 that these folks up here are a little mentally deficient.....this is a little over the top. Not as bad as someone who has been a MN resident sense 73 and still reside not to far Battle Lake MN. Actually all joking aside very interesting build!
