Not sure if you noticed, but the biggest critics of the Israeli government are the Israelis themselves. We do condemn actions that are wrong, but not everything you hear is true. Some of those settlers ended up arrested. And "smoked"?? The number of children that was reported is completely false. And we do recognize that there are "friendly fire" mistakes in wars. The soldiers who do that usually criticize themselves more than anyone ever could. I have no idea what the mayor of Jerusalem said, but I have a feeling it will again be a partial quote that was taken out of context. But as I said, no idea what was said so I might be wrong on that one.

The figures quoted by the BBC and other major media outlets rely on Hamas figures. Besides being hyped up, as they clearly displayed in the last week or two, when both they and their mouth piece the UN admitted that the figures for chold deaths were actually half of what they'd claimed them to be, these fingers also in luxe the 16-18 year-olds fighting in their ranks.
