I always thought Australia to be a dry arid desert continent where the desert gets about two small drops of rain every 50 years. But after watching videos galore on 4 wheel driving across and around Australia on this and other 4x4 channels, you guys seem to be forever navigating though mud, bogs and flooded desert roads with more water than you can shake a stick at. It would give NZ a run for it's money for wet tracks. Well done in producing an epic video.

Ronny I love your videos man Edits are always on point I always get this feeling that i'm with you guys there on those tracks Your videos are informative There is always a message in every trip Its never about rushing to the destination & flooring the cars but getting there safely & taking all the precautions Just thought i should give you your flowers while you're still at it We know that its physically,mentally & financially straining. But you still get up & do it So big ups to you sir

Wow what a trip and a awesome made video of your back crew. They are doing a fantastic job too. ...interesting, relaxing but you can smell the adventure. But no flashing pictures or stuff like this, which would ruin the charisma of being remote..... Thanks guy's

Hi there, does anyone know the condition of the track at the salt lakes right now? 1/11/25 . We’re ready to head off today.
@curtisjones1904 Жыл бұрын
Quite a few of the lakes you cross from Israelite to Bilbunya are not actually Salt Lakes, they are Soda Lakes - very alkaline, with the blackest stinkiest underbottom you've ever encountered, if you're unlucky enough to bust right through. You'll see Tufa columns on them. Anyway, potatoe potatoe. Get some in your eye or in your mouth, it's gonna feel and taste like ultra-salt regardless. Ronnies advice on not going around is legit - don't do that. Follow the tracks, at all times. You go off, you'll disappear into the murk and it's a long and unpleasant recovery. When you are passing over that dreadful limestone cobble surface that is so prevalent once you get up on top of the cliffs Ronnie is not exaggerating about how slow you'll need to go. Drop your tyres down around 18 or so, steer smart and take it easy easy. If you try to hustle, you'll bust something and your back will resent it. It's just the way it is. Also beware of wire from the old telegraph. That'll fuck you up if you wrap it around a brake drum or prop shaft.

Why do you guys keep driving at night? Why not just stop, chill, and camp early if needed? Less risk and more fun. Do you have some strict schedule or something, surely you could just plan a few days slack into the trip?

There is actually no legal camping between Israelite Bay and Baxter Cliffs… You are not allowed to camp near the salt lakes as it’s part of the nuytsland reserve.
