It's amazing to see you guys showering your love for our indian styles and culture 🙏. If you see in India every state has different dressing style. Like in Maharashtra many people in villages men wore white dhoti and shirt and Gandhi topi and women wore sari. In South India men wore lungi and women wore sari with different style than other states. In Punjab women wore Punjabi and from gujrat and rajsthan you will see different dressing style and jewellery and culture too different ❤️. Loved it to see you guys want to know much more about India and also want to familiar south korea to us. Well the video is not wrong but it's too recent. History of saree is as long as history of India so definitely it's not accurate, I feel. The time that has been started from I think 1910's that is perfectly fine but if u are talking about history it should be from a proper era rather than getting inspired from so called Bollywood.... It was was extremely exposive because in that time India was a female dominated country, there was no ruling system and I am talking about santana dharma period which was from Indus Valley Civilization.

The saree style of the 2010s was originally used by women in early 7th-8th century India, especially the strapless blouse which, at that time, was a piece of silk/ cotton cloth tied around the chest. It got more conservative 11th century onwards i.e the Rajput era. It's only in the last 30 years that blouses have become less conservative.

Every Indian lady who is married at least in minimum will have 50 sarees and max goes like 250 and above, for every regional festival and functions ladies usually buy sarees but now-a-days trend got changed n only 40 years and above are buying sarees below opting for shirt salwar and new trends.
