Fun fact: "Save our souls" is backronym. SOS was originally choosen because it is the simplest Morse code message (three short taps, three long, and three more short) and people untrained in Morse code could remember it in a pinch. So, even if the radio operate is incapacitated, a message clearly calling for help can still easily be sent.

The vast majority of people understand what SOS means, regardless of where you are in the world (though, in the early days different countries around the world created their own Morse codes for a distress signal). Additionally, SOS may have been originated from the English alphabet, but a triangle doesn't lend itself to Morse code very well. 😂 The number of people in the world that would recognize a triangle as an aerial distress signal is far more limited, and thus, not nearly as useful. (I'm talking about the average person, and not military or rescue that may be trained for something like this).

There's a Russian indie game with a similar premise. It's called Last Floor. Basically, you live in an apartment block, on the top floor. An alien invasion happens, but you need to make it down to the ground floor for some reason (I don't remember, I think you need to go out and get meds for your sick relative, but I really don't remember). So the whole game has you travel between floors, solve puzzles, and fight alien devices and possessed objects. It's pretty cool for what it is.

So, both squid and octopi actually have ink glands, but while an octopus has eight limbs all covered in suckers, a squid has ten limbs (on average. It may vary from species to species, I’m not quite sure) eight regular arms and two longer limbs with suckers and hooks interspersed along them. Gotta say, I love when you, or Fisk, or both get into a laughing fit to the point you start wheezing, just makes it even funnier when you both start your antics! Now, as for the game, it seems to have promise, but what intrigues me most, is the possibility of future horror/monster hunting YOU games, to impliment a smell mechanic, and or improve it, adds to both the immersion, and tactics for survival, most monsters that hunt by sound are scary, but adding smell to the list of things to check for, really makes me think of future problem solvers, like a stink bomb of sorts, to either lure, or scare the monster away, horror really is improving lately!
