For 2019 the US actually exceeded the targets laid out in the Paris accords which we imo rightfully pulled out of. We sit on an enormous supply of natural gas and right up until it was discovered the environmental movement was in love with the idea of natural gas. What changed? We have plenty of it. Yes. My husband and I have both noticed how cold our winter was this year (West TN). We typically have 0" to 2" snow (total, not just what sticks, I mean what FALLS) tops each year. This year we had 12 days of snow and ice and I believe the final count was around 11". Let's not forget the TX freeze!!! They havent had ice or snow in over 100+!

It gets absorbed at the poles where it is cold and takes over 1000yrs via ocean currents to get to the warmer equator where it comes out of solution. This is why there is a delay between temp increase and co2 following it. The current increase in co2 is due to the Middle Ages temp increase. The question is does that tiny amount of man made co2 change anything.

Just like all the other periods of slightly more exaggerated weather. But again, it's not been WARMER... it's been COLDER for everyone all over the world. This is not unheard of. I remember back in the early 90's I came across data from the core samples taken at one of the earths pole's and it showed a repeating pattern of climate shift of global warming and an ice age if memory serves every 20,000 - 24,000 years or so - so it is real - but happens as a natural cycle not solely caused by the events of man....

Hole in the ozone is coming in w w 3 . I read about it in the late 70s. Low tech weapon of mass destruction, for poor countries. Put cloro-floro-carbons in hot air balloons, release in upper atmosphere, create big hole in ozone layer about 20 miles across. Everything that can't get out of the sun will cook in ultraviolet radiation in about 20 minutes! Plants will will wilt and Everything else will get sunburned. They have no idea how long it will take to dissipate. It could take years. If several are used the damage could be world wide. We would not need to worry about nukes! No ozone we all have to hide for years.

He's right, and Co2 IR absorption is logarithmic, not linear, and our levels are already sufficiently past 90% of it's absorption capacity that you'd need to quadruple the amount currently in the atmosphere to see more than 1 degree Celsius difference.

Unfortunately, that's a very misleading figure. 50% of the CO2 in the atmosphere is due to human emissions. We know this because atmospheric CO2 level remained stable at about 275PPM for many 1000's of years before the start of the industrial age, since which time they have increased by 50% to over 410PPM. The truth is that while nature does release a lot more CO2 into the atmosphere, it also sinks as much as it sources. Humans don't sink any of the CO2 they source, so it accumulates, and that's the problem.

And the paradigm of correlation not equating to causality is only valid for isolated events.
