I am a picky eater by American standards, so I learned to cook at a young age to be able to make the things I like or to customize dishes to my tastes. I love sisig, but I HATE raw or still crunchy onions, so I make my sisig without onions.(is it still sisig without onions??) I am not a fan of the versions that include mayonnaise so I don't put that in mine either. I love sisig sobrang spicy, so lots of sili for me! I've never seen a version with liver, so I'll have to try it this way despite not normally liking liver. I have tried some Filipino dishes that have liver and loved it, igado for instance is really good! Having a Filipino wife has given me the chance to push my limits and enjoy food I might not have tried before.... please don't tell her, but I'm starting to like bagoong and alamang! shhhh!! Next thing you know I'll be eating buro na isda! Thank you for another lovely video!

Thanks for this comment! I love sisig but not the crunchy (fried) one, and ofc no mayo. I love onions becouse Poland is an onion and potato country so we eat them almost everyday 🧅🥔💯 We also use to eat chicken liver fried with alot of white onion and black pepper, im still cooking it time to time here. Best sisig i've eat here on Siquijor in Rina Fumiko Restaurant unfortuanatley now its closed, we even make a vlog about it. Now i like bagoong and alamang perfect for green mango, kare kare or bicol express.

@@IslaPamilya you should see some of the things they were eating when I was in Africa, I stayed in Cape Town for a while in a condo, and I went out to Zaire and Zimbabwe to do humanitarian work, the things they were eating out there well I won't even talk about it, they said to me oh you should try it it's part of our culture, I said no disrespect to you but I don't care about your culture and I just don't eat that if that offends you then I'm sorry but there's just no way I'm eating that, 💯🇺🇸💯🇺🇸💯🇺🇸💯🇺🇸💯🇺🇸
