Glass for the win, definitely. It will look finished and won't hide the clawfoot tub.

You have to do glass. You don’t want the bathroom to be a hazard when wet. It could make the floor slippery and water never stays where you want. Also the drapery will not give you that open spacious feel. It will close off the natural light that bounces around the room and make the person showering feel closed off to the rest of the bathroom.

Hey Lungile. So I vote for the drapery. You already included elements of the perisian feel why not go all the way. The fittings, toilet and bathtub. The tile on the shower area will be highlighted if you instal a light drape which will still bring in light when the shower is in use. Glass shower will fight with the feel of the bathtub given that they are both so close to each other and they are both big elements.

Hi Lungile. Unfortunately please add glass, you may have opened the shower but you were not actually showering. Just imagine when a person is showering, even on a shower door foam and water splashes do occur so it it’s open they will splash to the song & tub and one will have to wipe down the tub/sink after they shower😢

It’s coming together beautifully 🥰 I love following reno’s! Also glass for the shower, sorry 😅 I like the open flow of the bathroom with the open shower aesthetically but practically I’m not a fan of water & soap splashing and constantly having to mop the floor so my vote goes to a clear, simple glass (no thick frame so it still creates the illusion of open space).

I would say glass.. Depending on the condition of your bathroom, you're generally recommended to wash your shower curtain every 1-3 months. If your bathroom is humid and poorly ventilated, mold and mildew can sometimes develop more quickly, so you're going to need to wash it more often, at least once a month.

Glass definitely has to win! One of the reasons is that it's less maintenance compared to the hanging material and its much more hygienic especially since it's a guest bathroom. A seamless thin glass that is airy and still gives an impression of an "open" shower
