Thank you for NOT dealing with Facebook, so you've been locked out of one door, KZbin is very nice, and I can watch it on wide screen TV. Truly wish my family would not deal with Facebook, not everything needs to be public. I wonder if they would have asked for your social security number also?

I should caution you that unless you used tar or some other sealant under the tin you nailed to the roof, you still have a good chance of experiencing water seepage. You should have carefully removed shingles above it, fastened the tin onto the flat surface (preferably with a sealer) and brought the upper shingles down over it.

Glad to hear it. I gave it up over a yr ago. They were selling our personal information to the highest bidder. They even the app set to change your settings even after you change it. I watch you guys ever video I love how you are doing.

Yay! You have corn! I don’t have FB but I’m really happy to know you’re not deleting your KZbin. My husband and I are in our late 20s and we garden, can, preserve, raise chickens, etc. very similar to you all. I’m really happy I was able to find your channel in a web full of unrealistic channels.

Facebook is BIG BROTHER, and you did the right thing to delete it. True, it is a source of fundraising for channels, but it's not worth it to send them personal info like cell phone or driver's license. Twitter doesn't ask people to send that type of info. I hope FB goes out of business! It's a horrible place, controlled by bad people who have an agenda. Good for you!

Exactly the reason I am not on FaceBook anymore. They wouldn't send me a copy of their C_A paystub so I would not send them a copy of my DL. Good call about protecting yourself from them. Be sure to delete everything you have posted on there before canceling your account. Otherwise they will own your content. Glad you are still here as I look forward to your adventure.

I am so relieved that you are not deleting this account. It is such a blessing to SO many! We live in a dilapidated mobile home. It's been quite depressing. We have a roof leak, one destroyed room (from the leak), two sink leaks and a tub that needs replaced. You all have given us hope that we can fix these issues although we have no experience. We don't have the money to pay someone to do it. You've take our hopelessness and given us hope! Facebook's requirement is totally off. I wouldn't send in my ID either. That is crazy!

Leslie from Morning Mist Gardens Agreed!! I was seriously worried when the notification popped up! Thank God it's only Facebook getting the axe, and for a very valid reason no less. The only rationale that makes sense is preventing people from profiting using false identities of Famous video producers here, on the other platforms to sell advertising or products. But when you make the requirements so stringent, it'll definitely drive away even actual people like them from wanting to. Just glad you're still going to be making videos!! I got rid of my cable because of all the drug pushing commercials, and agenda driven news. Facebook too, last year. They were becoming toxic to my soul, and too invasive to my life. Its so nice to be free from them. I hope KZbin stays open, free, and inclusive. Dig your channel. I feel blessed that you share with us. Learning so much.Thanks :)

We used to access our roof from the antenna. It really is a great ladder! Facebook has done that for years. If your account has ever been compromised, you have to send your driver's licenses to get control of it again. Many people have walked away from Facebook because of this policy. Your garden should be okay now that you are watering. Yes, looks like corn to me.

I have to say what a relief as I think most of us thought you were going to take down youtube! Facebook has become so nosey and controlling, and has taken all the fun out of being on it anymore, I signed up only to communicate with family and friends and that's it but seems there's one to many trolls on there and always getting way to many emails from Facebook on things I've never signed up for or even showed any interest to and way to many friend request from complete strangers ,kinda scary but anyways glad your staying on youtube as I look forward to your videos, you guys are awesome and ty for the updates 👍 😆💙😊...

I'm so glad you opted out of Facecrap. They are a data collection company. Their primary goal is to aquire as much information about a person as possible in order to sell your data. I too don't have a smart phone. What a huge waste of money. I do have an old school flip phone that I only use for the road as an emergency. You guys are doing the right thing. Keep on keeping on.

I have refused FB forever and never had an account. Media gets more controlling all the time. I don't personally like it because they are steering their clients to also have to agree with their personal philosophies and beliefs. How can we ever make determinations whether or not we are on the right path through life if we never hear the varying opinions of others? I hate that controling and manipulation of us all!

I left fb 2 years ago. Friends were saying they weren't getting messages and posts. Plus my info was showing upon in in very odd places. I don't have anything good to say about facebook except my friends and family that I really enjoyed communicating with. Facebook steals info and pics off of your phone which you don't use. God bless. Hello, good for you. They are just a con and not worth really having a facebook page. They have changed so much over the years and my son was working for them and it was awful. The cut throat that goes on in that place is unbelievable and there are things that he still to this day can not tell anyone what happened. You are so better off without it. I support your facebook decision 100% and agree with all of your reasons 100%. Though I carry an inexpensive, limited cell phone primarily for road emergencies ($15 cell phone, $75 a year for service), I feel that "smart" phones are anything but smart and much prefer sitting at a desk with a full-blown Linux desktop. It so happens also that, aside from viewing KZbin vids and such, I'm not a big fan of social media and never had a facebook account. "Overreach" is exactly the word to use to describe what facebook does. Never liked a thing about facebook or about the way they did and do things. Good for you!
