THANKS FOR THE SHOUT OUT!! MUCH LOVE!! So my mechanic tip for this video, when Bernie first started turning the fine adjust screws on the brake, it looked like he turned the screw several times. Those are super sensitive, sometimes you only need a 1/4 turn to get it right. BUT it looks like he got it done quickly and working great! I usually have to adjust one side two or three 1/4 turns and the other side a turn or two.. The bike is beautiful!! MAHALO!!!!

Dude, I lived in HI for 8 yrs (90-98) now in San Diego. I’ve loved Race Inc bikes since 82-83 when a kid moved into my neighborhood I befriended. He had one in all candy blue and chrome. I eventually put a pair of candy blue Race Inc bars on my Mongoose Supergoose a few months later. Sweet build, love the white and blue combo. 🤘🏾👍🏾 Makes me wanna restore my Specialized FatBoy 24” cruiser.

PK Ripper and Quadangle, Mongoose, Patterson, Navajo, Hutch, Diamondback, and Redline bmxers of the time period. Unfortunately not, it was stolen by my neighbors son when I was in HS, replacing it in 1988 with a Specialized Stumpjumper mtb. I've been eyeballing S.E. Bikes again, but I've got enough hobbies that dig into my pockets.😂

I built my 26 with 9.5 in bars and a pivotal seat. I built mine to just ride all day not for doing tricks. Just a mad cool bike to ride. Like the old man with a Vette going the speed limit.

Beautiful work, good sir. I like this one better than the Skyway. Instead of using diagonal cutters, which pinch the cables if you can find cable cutters with an end kind of like branch loppers, they close like the aperture of a camera where they squeeze from all directions at once it tapers the cable instead. Hope that made sense.

I have a Race Inc RA29 and got the replacement Race inc head tube badge, the adhesive was complete junk for being as expensive as it is. I removed the old adhesive for double sided 3M clear adhesive mount tape, its super solid now.

Hey guys , the race inc. looks top notch …. the new rims really set it off … great job ! I have a suggestion for you … the rubber dust boot for the v brake tends to slide off , I use a zip tie and that boot will stay put ? I always look forward to watching your content thx….

If you can't find a good paint pen, you can try gloss fingernail polish. I have been able to touch up my blue pK ripper with fingernail polish. Cheers!

Yeah it might take a second set of hands to help pull the forks apart to be able to fit it all in. You’ll be able to do it but with a little muscle. Good luck!! 🤙🏼

Yeah that thing is too pricey and nice to get rid of!! My Race inc. doesn’t have screws on my brake cable hole caps. At least on mine there is no holes for screws. I had to get rid of those crappy forks for some s&m P. Beers! How are you gonna change a flat by yourself if you need to with those forks?

Haha, yeah, I ended up liking this bike way too much. My plans to sell it went out the door! But I do have a GT and a Dyno coming in soon and I think the Dyno will end up getting sold. Thanks for sharing that info on your brake caps. Mine has some holes so it can use some screws. Race Inc never got back to me though. I probably wonʻt be getting another Race Inc because of those dropouts. Thanks for watching! 🤙🏻
