Hi Breanna! Yes, there is a waitlist so your husband needs to jump on it quick. We were so lucky to get a house weeks after he applied. You are so right they do have different locations for each housing neighborhood. You have the option of living on or off base just in case if you didn’t know. Do you have kids? If so, I think they will help you sooner like they did with us. Offpost housing is extremely difficult to find here plus you will more likely be paying out of pocket since BAH rates here are low. There’s about 4 communities through Corvias (property management) and people are constantly moving in/out so I’m sure there should be vacancy available
