Although I'm a fan of your music, I am also a fan of You and what you are trying to accomplish in this World.

Alicia, surely you're moving into an incredibly significant, God-given and driven time in your life. Your platform is world-wide. For you to be serving Him in this way shows how humble and obedient your heart is. The impact you and others will have on this earth, spreading love and promoting justice, will be amazing. Alicia is a rare gem, sister with SOUL, her voice brings only chills of warmth love and sweetness. Then come her BIG HEART to reach out, that is soo touching. However, Alicia, it is not 'discriminating' to be HONEST and call a SPADE a SPADE! We African (Biafrans) have culture and believes in the value of family and respect of same. Without that we will not be here, there'll be no society or world! ....Common, the 'gay' guy is making a crappy case to defend the indefensible! Who needs your wife at work before 'promoting' you? Please, people that need psychological help should accept it and get it rather than making madness sound lie the new 'normal'. We know that even mental/mad people never know or accept they're mad, same with people (Gays, lesbians etc..) that look for what they already have, that's form of mental problem, and they need help, Period! We can only solve our global problems by First being HONESTY and TRUTHFUL NO MATTER HOW IT MAY HURT. YES TRUTH HURT! WITHOUT NORMAL FAMILY THE SOCIETY AND THE WORLD IS DAMNED!

I believe you're on to something, however I think have a bit of a blurred vision about it. Now I do believe there is some deep psychological ties thats associated with homosexuality but I think you lack the compassion to understand fully. Yes, truth CAN hurt, especially when its backed by judgement and harsh criticism. Truth is these people are hurt! And attacking is not going to help, it just further perpetuates the issue. Every one has a story behind how they got to where they are right now. Just because someone 'sins differently' than you doesn't make you any better. They are human just like you.....and I hate to use "they" anyway cuz we need to get rid of this "us vs. them" mentality (in general) cuz WE ARE ONE PEOPLE. This man's "crappy defense" wouldn't be crappy if you saw it in the correct light. He doesn't need you to necessarily agree with his lifestyle. He was basically saying acknowledge him as a fuckin human and show some respect! Just because he's gay doesn't mean he shouldn't be able to excel at work or anything of that nature. We as a people just need to put a lil love right there where the hate is and instead of just focusing on the problem, learn and understand how it came to be and work on solutions.....in general! Oh and we need help not patronizing....ijs

Sorry dear, we are not here to paint 'shit' white and nurse it in hope that it will become delicious meal. We have a culture that is more scientifically sound than the crap they confuse people's head with today. At least if you look around the result of it, you'll need no Einstein to tell you that madness is in the driver's seat, or are we actually making any headway to 'normalcy' in your opinion? Well, the more we pump in shit into our heads, justifying it to be normal, the more insane the world goes. If people that requires serious help are left to 'normalise' their psychological problem as normal, how long do you think it will take before everyone get forced to become insane in other to prove they're normal? It's a bit sad that your outpouring of 'shallow emotion' fails to make any cogent point to support your case, especially why a 'gay or lesbian' should front their 'abnormal sexual preference' as a way of intimidating their employers to promote them. When is 'sexual orientation' a public affairs? Mind you that paedophiles did not choose such as well, but they are being hunted and punished as if they're in control.. That is to use the same line of lame argument of Gays/Lesbians supporters.
