I'm quite lucky exposed to finance at an early age, started job at 19, purchased first home at 28, got laid-off work at 36 just after the rona-outbreak in 2020, going forward, immediately hired an advisor to keep my head above water, and in return, I'm only 25% short of $1m after subsequent investments to date.

2:18, this needs more context. The context is a prior "overheated" economy, where there was too much money as measured against GDP. You might reply that shrinking the money supply would be like reversing your car onto an already dead animal. But it's not like that at all in our inflationary situation; it's more like getting the economy back into equilibrium. Do you really want to gamble with high inflation? That's not rational

The market has too much energy for sept cut. If the market thinks its happening, there will be a rally. Safer would be to say in july, that they're planning for a november cut, as long as the market can keep it together til then. The WAY the cut is priced in before it happens matters more than the cut itself. Thing is, seems more and more likely that the next fed and tres sec are going to take a weak dollar approach, and current fed understands baselines.

HELP. Pretend we get (2) cuts. Ok so we're down .50%. That means the car payment on a $50k car -----is perhaps $15.00 lower for a 6 year loan. On a $320 home loan, it's $80 bucks lower. Point is - is $15 per month the difference in someone buying a new car, or not? Are there throngs of people saying "I won't own a home until it's $80.00 less per month"?
