Investing in ARK’s fund seems pointless. If you consider their claim that Tesla will grow 10x, it raises questions about the potential performance of the other stocks in their ETF. How many of them are expected to achieve such significant growth? It may be more beneficial to invest solely in Tesla to maximize potential profits and no need to pay for the fund management fees.

honestly i think cathy wood is a socialite of investing... it i like inviting people to invest that are already rich to lose money or just to park their money to follow suit with everyone else. But money is not a priority. Thus the investors they attrack are not really poor and in need of money. So she is btch. You have to basically label yourself as a criminal and a sounded minded guy to basically get any rewards back that are good. However, if you come with a like 20k you are probably already rich and you are just parking $$ funds. Go to blackrock, or a small investing firm that really wants to make $$$$$$ she is all about "philosophy" as far back as I can remember. Like her form, over anything. Which is fine but for your $$$$$ return. hell no!! go to a gym rat that is hiring seris 7 recent graduates that runs discord and seeks to be aggressive on plays ..... rather than someone who looks at investing as some sort of philosophy other than making the investors money. The truth. follow they momey the game. the moves . I got sick of her like after one year. honestly she honestly gives luck to the gym guys that are trying to invest more so.. and that are running discords that are doing it in the hurry hungry of making money to chase more customers. She has a cushion.... that cushion is hers is big time money she made. I think honestly she is like an opionated lady with really really good advice... but in practice most of her funds are like what? locked in for live 40 50 years?????

I've been investing for 30+ years. ARK's strategy makes sense to me, but there will be cyclical swings beyond what most investors can handle. If that's the case reduce your exposure. But over the long term, being 5 and 10 years, I'm confident they will outperform in a large way. The industry is so hard on Ark and Cathie, that I think it's it's own sentiment indicator. I think ARK Investments moves swiftly higher as rates come down. Everyone hates it. I love that.

WHERE'S THE SALT?? 1. Generalization and potential biases: The speakers present a highly optimistic view of Tesla's future, which may reflect a confirmation bias. They frequently use superlatives and make bold predictions about Tesla's potential dominance in the EV and autonomous driving markets. While they mention some risks, the overall tone suggests a strong belief in Tesla's success, potentially overlooking or downplaying significant challenges. 2. Logical fallacies: - Appeal to authority: The speakers frequently reference their own expertise and long-term research, which while valuable, could lead to overconfidence in their predictions. - Cherry-picking: There's a tendency to focus on positive aspects of Tesla's performance while quickly dismissing or rationalizing negative points. - False dichotomy: TheY sometimes presents Tesla's success as an either/or scenario against traditional automakers, potentially oversimplifying a complex market dynamic. 3. Foundational assumptions: - Rapid EV adoption: TheY assume a dramatic increase in EV market share, from 10 million in 2023 to 74 million by 2030. - Robotaxi dominance: A key assumption is that Tesla will successfully launch a robotaxi service, generating $28 trillion in value by 2030. - Tesla's AI superiority: The speakers assume Tesla's data advantage will translate directly into superior autonomous driving capabilities. - Regulatory environment: There's an assumption that regulatory hurdles for autonomous vehicles will decrease due to safety concerns with human drivers. 4. Inferred intent: The primary intent appears to be justifying ARK's investment thesis in Tesla and explaining their valuation methodology. The speakers seem to be addressing potential investor concerns and criticisms, defending their bullish stance on the company. 5. Evaluation of specific claims: - EV market growth: While EV adoption is indeed growing, the projection of 74 million EVs by 2030 seems extremely optimistic and may not fully account for potential obstacles in infrastructure development, raw material supply, or consumer adoption rates. - Robotaxi valuation: The $28 trillion valuation for the robotaxi industry by 2030 seems extraordinarily high and may not adequately consider competition, regulatory challenges, or technological hurdles. - Tesla's data advantage: While Tesla does have a significant amount of driving data, the speakers may be overestimating the direct correlation between data quantity and autonomous driving capability. - Vertical integration advantage: The speakers emphasize Tesla's vertical integration as a key advantage, which has merit but may underestimate the potential for other automakers to catch up or for specialized suppliers to emerge. 6. Methodology critique: The valuation methodology, while detailed, seems to rely heavily on optimistic projections and may not fully account for worst-case scenarios. The use of adjusted EBITDA and the normalization of R&D expenses, while explained, could potentially mask important financial realities. 7. Balanced perspective: While the speakers do mention some risks and challenges, the overall analysis lacks a truly balanced perspective. A more robust analysis would include more detailed exploration of potential failure modes, competitive threats, and technological or regulatory roadblocks. In conclusion, while theY provides valuable insights into ARK's investment methodology and their bullish thesis on Tesla, it should be approached with a critical eye. Their analysis, while detailed, appears to be colored by a strong confirmation bias and may not fully represent the range of potential outcomes for Tesla and the broader EV and autonomous driving industries. Investors would be wise to seek out contrasting viewpoints and conduct additional research to form a more balanced perspective on the company's prospects.

Hertz hated them because the repair cost when a lot higher and the resale is garbage. You think a taxi service wants to use those when Chinese companies make cheaper and better quality EVs? Then look at how most large inner cities have turned into complete cesspools. How long those EVs going to last when they figure out all the electrical and computer chips they can steal and resell. Also include the cost of human waste cleaning because people have a total lack of decency and local governments do not enforce laws.
