WE ARE IN FOREST SCHOOL EVERY MONTH(CLIMATE CHANGE AND CARBON FOOTPRINT)

I take my students to the Forest School every month. (They take courses such as survival in nature, life skills, science and ecology, etc.) When we go to the forest, we try to accustom children to sustainable and life. We buy materials such as drinkers, plastic bottles, shoes, overalls from forest-specific ones. Since we use robust and high quality materials, we reduce the carbon footprint by not repurchasing these materials. We also do not use packaged food. Our slogan in the forest is minimum plastic and maximum sustainable work.My students prepared a presentation about Carbon Footprint to their peers in our school. Each student calculated their own carbon footprint and prepared some school action plans to promote sustainable living. With these action plans, we reduced the use of plastic and paper by raising awareness in the school and creating economical classes.
