Killing Voice is a great showcase but it's also a very demanding environment. You have to sing non-stop and you have to be mindful of every move as the mic is very sensitive. You'll have to see her solo concert performances before declaring you can't be any more impressed with her, because that's where she really give it all. She has a series of Busking performances in Europe through the show Begin Again 3 too, it's different but very refreshing.

You can't really compare both IU and Taeyeon. Both are legends and have their own legacy. Music is subjective and IU's music is not of my taste but I do have some songs of her in my playlist which I absolutely love. But when it comes to vocals there is no way IU can be compared to Taeyeon. Taeyeon is in her own league. IU is just slightly above average singer. But one thing I respect most about IU is her lyrics. IU as a lyricist, I have atmost respect to her. She writes most of her stuff and she was one of the first female idols who wrote her own lyrics. You usually see rappers writing their own lyrics but IU was a vocalist writing songs. Taeyeon along with Ailee is the best female vocalist in K-pop of all time. Ailee is also a monster singer. But If you ask me who is the best Korean female vocalist then it's Sohyang. You probably haven't heard of her since she is not a Kpop idol. She is a gospel singer and arguably the best female vocalist in the world of this generation. I don't know if you guys are interested but you should check her out. She is not a Kpop idol but Korean legend. She hits G5 and B5 flat notes with proper chest mix support on a daily basis which you don't see any idol hit in their lifetime. Literally every vocal coach on internet praises her. You should watch her performance of Arirang Alone and Bridge over troubled water. You will discover a new titan category of singing which you have never heard of.
