Ohhh Evan ... your excitement was contagious. I've been to New York three times (all the way from Queensland, Australia) because my daughter lives there. For me the BEST place EVER is The Met. Complete joy sitting in the room surrounded by priceless old European artworks. I have been there each visit. The other "must-do" is the helicopter trip over New York. The most profound site to visit is, of course, where the two towers once stood. I hope that you get the chance to see more of New York in the coming week or two.

Flip that backpack around to the front then you have better control. Also flipping it to put where the zipper is closest to your body also can be helpful. If you are super concerned about safety then you can always take some self-defense classes if it would give you more confidence in big cities around or in big groups of people. Stay on the defense and watch your surroundings.

BEST mom advice EVERRR….Keep a potty (with a lid) in the car at all times. Then there will always be a potty when needed and no yucky public bathrooms! I also keep plastic bags as liners for #2 😉😉

The baby will be here before you know it. With my first child the doctor told me, the baby could come at any time. I ended up being 10 days late. Glad they had a good time in NY, not sure I would have traveled, being told the baby could come at any time.

Take a potty chair with you!! I have a 3 year old granddaughter and I always take one with us. Amazon has little bags you can put in the seats and just throw them away. This is so nice especially on trips and they can’t hold it. Hope this helps.
