It looks like most of this came from the official release of the Under Pressure (Rah Mix) from Queen’s Greatest Hits 3 of music videos from way back in the late 90s. I still have the VHS. It was probably produced by DoRo Productions (not sure if it was them, but they did most of Queen’s videos in later years). Doing the rotoscoping of the shots where you see Freddie and David together was much harder back then. So it’s fairly impressive in that sense. Now it’d be easier and I’ll bet they would mix more of the footage together now. I’ve done that type of rotoscoping and it can be a super time consuming!

Unfortunately, Freddie Mercury and David Bowie never performed the song live together even though they were both at Live Aid. The Live performances shown in this video are Queen at Wembley in 86 and David Bowie and the remaining members of Queen at the Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert which took place at Wembley.

Queen and Bowie wrote this song together. They never got around to performing it together, though.

Love this. They both wrote this song in one night !!! Alot of people didn't know that. The way they did this is amazing ❤ and yes they took that dumb ass to court for stealing the riff and won .

They were merging Freddie's version from before he died 11/24/1991 with David Bowies Dedication to Freddie Concert. That is why if you notice Brian May walking around David and look closer you'll see Roger Taylor on Drums and John Decon with very buzz cut hair with a little gray. Everyone who played at the Dedication to Freddie Mercury Concert was phenomenal!

Now to do the LIVE performance at Wembley, 1986 (where Freddie’s part of the clips are from)... Just Queen (without David Bowie)... and the amazing way Freddie started it off. By the way, this particular video is a compilation: Bowie and Queen never performed it live together during Freddie’s lifetime (Bowie’s clips are from the Freddie Mercury Tribute concert )

Serious lyrics need to be listened to. It seems the message is continuously lost on the audience. Your attention to the trivia of a fan video is a sad commentary that we are just not listening

It’s also the first time they’ve heard it, most people don’t hear the lyrics so clearly the first few times. If people like the beat, they listen again and again, and the lyrics come through..

Now listen to this one. kzbin.info/www/bejne/jF7CimipeMZ_pqc Marc did vocals for the "Bohemian Rhapsody" movie. And, he's NOT imitating Freddie. He naturally sounds like that. He just adds a "bit" of an English accent when he's trying to sound exactly like Freddie.

If you placed this same concert today in 2024, the ticket prices would be insane. These two would out draw Taylor Swift, no problem.

Its confusing but you are listening to the studio version of Queen and David Bowie which was never performed live together. But you are seeing a mix of Queen performing it live at Wembley in 1986 and Bowie performing it live at the Freddie Mercury tribute concert in 1992 after Freddie's death.
