It kills me they're not bringing this to the US... I truly hope they surprise us and change course, but not counting on it. I'm 100% in if they do. It's not going to be a moneymaker, but it certainly ignites passion in the enthusiast community (and will bring over, or bring back, people to the brand). Audi continues to have significant demand for their RS6, and frequently on the forums the biggest gripes are its large size and lack of dynamics. M3 touring would fit the bill for many. I also loved that this was a passion project, you could genuinely see that from those in the video!

I have a mint condition silver E46 330i SE Touring with 70k miles on the clock. Picked it up for £3,500 in 2021 - when I saw it listed I had to snap it up at that price. Although not an M3, the E46 Touring is generally growing in popularity but the majority of the cars now have clocked high mileage (usually 320d engined used by people who travel up and down the country for work). I think my 330i with low mileage is a golden find at the price I paid. I've noticed I can already sell it for double the price if I wanted to, but considering instead to supercharge it to take it up to 310hp from 235hp.

Endlich 🙏😍 Seit 20 Jahren träume ich (und glaube viele andere BMW M und Touring Fans) von einem M3 Touring. Schade, das BMW damals nicht den Mut hatte bzw. das mögliche Potential eines M3 Touring nicht erkannt hatte. Der E46 war eine so beliebte und starke Baureihe (auch gab es damals noch weniger Mitbewerber für einen M3 Touring als heute). Ich bin fest davon überzeugt, das sich der E46 als M3 Touring bestens verkauft hätte. Aber nicht im Gestern schwelgen, sondern auf den G81 M3 Touring freuen 😍👌 Der wird sehr viele Freunde, Fans und schlußendlich auch Käufer finden!

If you think finding a manual E91 is hard, try finding a manual N54 M-sport E61.Took me about 5 years to find one, 1 of 3( in its spec) in North America and 1 of 1 in Canada!

That E46. My goodness. The late '90s and early '00s were really the apex of design at BMW. Every car in their lineup was gorgeous. It was also the golden era when "M" really meant something. These days, even the most pedestrian, base-model BMW comes with about 17 "M" badges plastered inside and out, to speak nothing of the garish and overwrought styling. Here's hoping BMW will find their way again.

Interesting that only the rear of the Touring was shown, unlike the e46 M3 Touring. They were proud to show the front of e46 M3 T, but NOT of the new model Touring. Sadly, M-Division retained the MONSTER BARBECUE grill. History will look back at this grill as the most hideous BMW grill ever created.
