A difficult song to sing--it has some tough jumps, legato runs and a triplet here and there, but I love it because it feels like an Elton John/Bernie Taupin composition (influences from Goodbye Yellow Brick Road/Your Song/Burn Down The Mission/I'm Still Standing). You all did it, WHILE dealing with Zoom timing and not being in-person!

The bass line also reminds me of Gary Wright's "Dream Weaver," a memorable underpinning that gives it more heat than the original. The bass itself is awesome in purple and yellow!

This song never sounds right playing it slower than 110 bpm. Its basically a slow march. This has good tempo

You get it. I love this because this is how I'd imagine Chicago (Cetera Era!), Toto, Earth Wind & Fire, Elton/Taupin, Survivor, lots of AOR West Coast bands would do it. It's INSANELY good. I don't like the super-slow versions...it has to have a groove feel.
