It is never their role to arrest, try, make rullings on corruption cases, and detain governers found guilty of corruptin. The most they can do is to prepare reports and submit to the EACC and the DCI.

So were you hoping that the Senate should set up an internal prosecution and judicial departments within itself to jail the culprits? A govt works with checks and balances that ensure that power is not abused by institutions. Haven't you heard the committee asking EACC to take up the issue as a corruption matter? Then EACC will not prosecute but refer the investigation file to ODPP to prosecute. Then judiciary will pass the sentence. Or do you have a better system in mind?

As a professional Accountant, the payment voucher should have the following, Date of payment, voucher number,attached invoices with rubber stump and receipts, description as to why the payments has been made, payers name and signature, name of the payee and signature, mode of payment either cheque, cash, credit card etc, if payment was made on cheque, the cheque should be reflected........
