We Are Out! is a series in which samurai photographer Keichii Nitta cracks open Japan's taboo on open homosexuality, by delving into the intimate lives of gay and lesbian couples.
In Part 2, Nitta goes to the home of international Chinese/Japanese couple Tenten and Koh. Having left his friends and family in China, Tenten found love when we met Koh. Behind closed doors, their outward macho appearance is shed to reveal an intimate portrait of modern love.

I am crying so bad. Masaki past away shortly after this from complications after a surgery. Then years later Tenten found a new love, Matt, and then last year Tenten died in a traffic accident. This is just SO dang sad! 😭😭

MS omg I'm horrified and I'm so sorry to be the cause of you reliving this ugh 😩 I know nothing of Ten other than he is no longer walking on my earth. It's so hard to lose someone (Koh) we love and under excruciating pain. Koh from the research I did is a VIP not just for Japan but for all of LGBT people worldwide. Masaki Koh is one of my favorite JGV stars and seeing this side of him makes me respect him all the more. Nitta-san was quite correct when he said that Koh and his partner were more self-aware than he expected and seeing how mature Koh was when answering about common misconceptions in Japan when it comes to gay men and his stance on gay marriage I agree that both guys were very practical, eloquent and polite.

Was greatly sadden by the demise of Koh, and wished i have known him as a friend other than a fan. On screen and stage he shows great showmanship and star appeal, but from his personal photos and interviews he shows how much a humble and nice guy he is to everyone.
