You police officers are the real heros. One time, many years ago, the WRPS saved my life. My neighbours back then heard me screaming and called. Two officers came and took me to a safe house. Sadly I was not able to see that I was a victim of abuse and returned to my home. It took an additional 2 years before I could accept that I was being abused and being abused by the one person who should have been protecting me. No one in my family knew because I was too humiliated for them to find out I was such a bad wife. For the last 30 years I have been in a happy and safe relationship. From the depths of my heart and soul, I thank you for what you did for me. You helped me turn my life around and to finally see that I was not the problem, my ex-husband was the one in the wrong. When I hear sirens going off now, I pray for all of you to return safely. I also pray for whoever you are on you way to help, that they know help is on the way.

Im writing this comment because... Its strange n sad that our collective culture glorifies stupid people... like the advt that played on my screen before this one... it was a caucasian rapper boasting about how the cops give him trouble n how they are after him. This rapper will probably make millions while the real hereos of our society get not only ignored but further villified ... n for what?... just to sell a few more terrible cds of terrible music. I immigrated to canada from a developing country... so trust me i know... Canadian Police is one of the Best in the entire world. The officer who gave me a ticket last year for doing a rolling stop... treated me with utmost respect and even called me 'Sir'... okay i was angry momentarily just like anyone would be if they got a ticket but within minutes i came to the conclusion that it still was one of the nicest experience ive ever had with a police department. If this was my native country ... the cops wouldhv cussed at me, tried to scare n intimidate me and in the end wouldhv gladly accepted a small cough* 'fee' cough* instead of issuing me a legitimate ticket. I remember once bribing them with something as minor as ananas juice. So trust me... Canadian Police is one of the best Police Forces on this planet! I hope i see more videos like this instead of petty anti police propoganda like the video before this.

@@juandoe2994 Well the point is my heroes dont reside in lame dumbass pop culture cRap videos... i know who my real heroes are from my personal history... so when nazi white supremacists attack your people's place of worship here in the US ... with machines gun... ill see who else has the balls to take 15 bullets... including 1 to the head... other than a tax payer funded Cop ... (who was incidentally White JFYI) while defending a room full of non white immigrant hostages... let me tell you ... there was no single NWA yelling FTP that day.... im not saying all cops are born equally heroic, n i empathize if u were mistreated by some other cop but hey im just trying to give you some perspective... ur just a naive typical first world born citizen who takes such things for granted ... probably have bad taste in music as well... just guessing though ! Why are the police advertising to me? Aren't they supposed to be public servants? If I were an optimist, I'd say that perhaps they're hoping to recruit from a different pool, to limit the amount of people just looking for a quick sense of power and license to carry a gun. Unfortunately, I'm not that kind of optimist...
