IDK if y'all been doing this but when you find armors in stashes, pick them up, tear patch off to get the patch, then disassemble/throw away the armor if you don't want it, it's free patches

You should look into repairing the SVU for the brain scorcher, since it's a 7,62×54 gun, and the AP variant of this cartridge type (the one with black stripes) is ridiculously good against armour, which you'll definitely need against monolith. In fact, it's even worth a trip to dark valley and cordon to see if bandits or loners will sell it to you. If they don't, it's worth buying the 7,92×57 AP, then disassembling it to craft 7,62×54 AP.

That’s really weird. If you’ve slept a lot then he 100% should have 9x39 ammo at Major goodwill. I’ll be honest I have no clue what to do in that situation. I think it happened to me before and I just went and got goodwill up with other factions to buy it.

this is off topic (mainly cause i found ya looking up invictus runs and saw you said this in your live three weeks ago on your 2nd ecologist run.) but you touched on stalcraft and that you have no one to play with. If you are interested in the game, and you want a wing man, i would be more then happy to play with you any time. i mainly play stalker and at late mid game to early end game, but i also have a bandit character i have not touched. ether way I'd be happy to help get ya into the game, and help ya learn the ropes and such :)
