Beyond my comprehension how you're establishing a new farm from the ground up, building 2 houses, a huge pond, home schooling MaryCarl, producing videos & podcasts all while living in a camper. Dealing with all the surprises like orders not arriving, inclement weather, injuries & illness. You are definitely modern day pioneers. Can't leave out daily managing your farm because your animals & crops still need your attention. Thank you for sharing this experience with us. :o)

Good morning Jason, Brooke and MaryCarl! Jason I love how you explain things like Timmy clucking and picking up food and setting it down to show his girls that it’s ok to eat. It’s fun for us non farmers to learn. I also want to compliment you and Brooke on what a great daughter you’re raising. I follow her on instagram and I love her birds and photography. She also answers questions. I’ve learned so much from all of you!

I remember once we had moved to a new property and due to it being a muddy winter we kept the goats up and on grain for months. We turned them out and freaked out when we went to feed them that evening because they were all lying down and we thought they were dead. They were all snoozing with extra stuffed bellies, lol.

Colorists, I haven't watched it yet. Like to read Jason's Description, & some of the Comments. Otherwise with my old lady's eye there's often something I miss, then curiosity forces me to backtrack. That said (as Brooke says), I grew up in a small farm & loved listening to the chickens. They have quite a wide vocabulary. I like hearing the hens sing, when they're contented & calm. Ones that like to be petted & held will sing to their heart's content.

Moody and the boys look so happy eating to their heart's, and stomach's, content. That fencing system looks amazing! Love the greenhouse all finished up! Woo-wee! It is very nice! It will be exciting when Mildred gets to be a grazing, fertilizing, big girl cow! What do you think you'll try to do about the fly situation? More wasps? Maybe the wasps run in cycles or have an "x amount" of area they cover. Lester's dad got some salt blocks that have a fly repellent in them. Flies are awful and it's farmers trying everything to get rid of them. Maybe combinations have to be tried. Thanks for the video! ♥️❤️💗💓💖💝💞💕💘💌❣️

if you have time, can you setup a timelapse by the fence pointed at the sunflowers and do a full day timelapse? i think it'll look pretty cool seeing the sunflower plants move to face the sun. maybe 2-3 minute interval so you can get 20-30 frames per hour, which is roughly about a second of footage every hour.
