My grandma just finished redoing her whole house and she almost rented an apartment for a few weeks but ended up not doing it...they have a guest house but there’s only a bedrooms and bathroom so we bought a table and a mini fridge and microwave and a tiny cooktop so she could have a mini kitchen while she waited for her house to get done
