Those "Titanium balls" are actually Pearls :) Reminder: name of resources and biome names, spoiler free (you can see them in the upgrade menu from the start, won't include where to look for them): All blocks give Diamond Dust that you can spend in upgrade shop to unlock permanent upgrades. (Blueprints are for the upgrade shop to unlock things permanently between runs spending Diamond Dust.) Common Purple/Blue resource crystal everywhere: Cobalt Black blocks (Starting): Rock biome, Grey/White gem: Diamond Green covered blocks: Mossy biome; Green gem: Emerald Red Black spotted blocks: Sponge aka Coral biome; round dark Purple: Pearl Rainbow Turquoise/Pink technology blocks: Bismuth aka Cube biome; Turquoise/Purple/Pink cube: Cube Ice covered blocks: Ice biome; Purple crystal: Ceramic crystal (called Amythyst in earlier patch) Red flesh block with bloody surface: Blood biome; Turquoise round thing with Red middle: Hyper Cell Molten blocks: Magma biome; Pink crystal: Bone???? I beat the game, looked everywhere on the meny both in and out of the game, still couldn't find anywhere that listed any information about the biomes or what the materials are called. If you found the information on a wikipedia site, it's ok to say so.

Honestly Chris the best advice I can give you at this point is that the further you go out from your starting biome(the one with the large spider mechs in the background) the more likely you are to find new blueprints, items, and more powerful more exotic weapons. The reason you keep getting stuck with things like the shotgun and stake thrower is you seldom go above or below the third biome away from the start. Try upgrading your drill and machine gun early on and ignore the early artifacts then push north or south as far as you can. You're a tenacious little dude! You got this!

The resource harvesters pay for themselves in just 5 mins, and the discount only discounts the equivalent of 1 min of their coat. So you may aswell just fully upgrade the quantity side of the harvesters and get them down asap, ignoring the discount, then get the discounts and Max efficiency asap after. Is a big passive boost

the resource harvester earns you back its mineral cost, true. but it never pays for itself. those blues going into your own movement or drilling speed will earn you significantly more resources per minute than the resource harvester is earning you. gotta think about the opportunity cost. not just the real terms cost. sure if you've got resources going spare, then you may as well dump them on some resource harvesters. but if you're floating resources then you've already got a bigger issue, which is that you're wasting time mining things you don't need

when u open a new mine, and u move away too fast, the missile will fail, and not go in the cave to clear a big patch... just look at 38:46, where the missile didnt go in... that's a thing the devs should look at, or it's supposed to be that way, to mess with the player...

Common misconsception. It did blow up, you can even hear it. Only weak compared to the super hard material, cannot break those blocks. (seen this dozen times, always with hard material relative to torpedo level, and the blocks were always cracked even without seismic generator later)

it does blow up and destroy everything even if he moves i played the game i do it this thing and it never fails to blow up and destroy the blocks it only does what u say when there is no blocks ie the small mines where there is bunch of resources laying on the ground and some lore

Go all the way down, find the bottom. For the other upgrade materials, go someplace you have not been. Not just crossing, and re-crossing the middle.

Anything larger then the small mines you should ignore all the stuff near the spider unless it's blocking your way. Also the seismic continues through battle so if you don't have to move you can stay there an make mining progress while fighting.

I am not going to spoil anything for you. Right now you are entering the endgame and it will start to feel that progression is little bit slow. Just keep traveling and you will get there and find what you need.

Last I'll harp on it, but now that you've seen the 3 split laser, and can see how fast you mine, you know why I prioritize getting there and buying those mining upgrades. Faster spider speed (the last upgrade is nuts) means getting to mines faster. More mines is more blue prints is more blocks is more meta upgrades. Good luck with the rest of your runs!

yaay new episode! The 2 things were totally different at the beginning affecting your mining! The "Economic drilling" schematic gives 5% chance to get resources from ANY block. This includes the "blank" standard ones giving only meta currency Diamond Dust but no gems. At starter Rock biome this means blank black blocks have a chance to drop Cobalt (Blue gem) or Diamond (Grey/White gem) and resource blocks may drop 1 more. In a Mossy biome blank blocks have a chance to drop Cobalt (blue gem) or Emerald (Green gem) and resource blocks may drop 1 more. etc. The upgrade "Conscious Mining" gives more gem/ore/resource from resource blocks only. So if you see block will blue gem there is a chance 1 more will drop. From block with Green gem 1 more green might drop. etc. Blank blocks aren't affected, still they will only give meta currency Diamond Dust and no gems. So the schematics is super powerful, usually a mine's blocks 90-95% blank. So the chance to trigger is 5x-10x higher since all blocks might drop resource.

@@pbsixgun6 Yes super good. Intresting fact: you can only find schematics for what you have. Starting you can only get this 5% resource schematic, few drilling efficiency, and few upgrades for the starter machine gun (rotation and damage). If you run out of possible things the game is forced to give more and more of these 5% schematics.

@@MolnarG007 yeah i found by far my most effective strat was to take 0 upgrades or weapons and focus solely on schematics. The base schematics are super powerful. And if you can get to one of the tier 3 biome sets before the second boss wave, then machine gun can carry well enough til you trade it for one of the tier 3 weapons. the drone is really the only upgrade that i think actually pays for itself (since you can leave it to solo early waves whilst you gobble up minerals, which is invaluable in the first 5-10 mins), but how often will you roll drone as your first upgrade?

Whoever commented smth like "Bomb launcher can carry you until you find [redacted weapon]".... You were so right, that weapon for sure can redact out everything. I didn't think things could become better than my fully kitted out bomb launcher, but they sure damn can. Another thing is that the weapons that you find in the rarest biomes are kinda useless because unless you speedrun Everything you get to use them (or rather their unupgraded versions) for only like 1 minute towards the end of the game. So what's the point if I can finish the game with the bomb launcher I have found in the very first cave...

This game is so good. Maybe it is the artwork or the fact that you start with mostly nothing that drived me away from Dome Keeper. This feels much more engaging. The fact that every block gives you something to use is clever. A small backstory is a nice touch... This has become a new tool to scratch my OCD. No blocks left behind!

I think it's ok to let him know the first bit but telling him exactly what to do kind of ruins the fun for him and the viewers.
