Welcome to parenting 101 with 3 children, Nick. I was in the exact same place long ago, and you're in for the wildest ride your brain can imagine! 😂😂 As for dealing with a 3 year old who doesn't listen, the best thing you can hope to do is constant reenforcement of rules and trying to keep her busy. First and most of all, don’t be so hard on yourselves. You guys are incredible parents!!! Both of you have jobs too - producing & editing videos, engaging with subscribers and sponsors, coming up with content ideas. Couple that with 3 babies back to back to back and it’s easy to be stressed or overwhelmed. Would hiring an in- house nanny help? Since that’s such an obvious recommendation, you’ve probably thought about it. Other than this, how about considering dropping new content 3x a week vice every day. Your entire family is awesome!!!
@Bub-nq1hk3 ай бұрын
To punish Blakey you should get down to her level and tell her to go to her room in time out. If that doesn’t work the tell her that you going to bring her up to her room and bring her there by her hand. If that doesn’t work then don’t say anything and just pick her up and carry her to her room and don’t talk at all and keep doing this until she stays there for the amount of time she needs to stay there. After her punishments over ask her if she knows why you put her in timeout and then when she answers give her a hug so that she knows she’s not in trouble anymore. You can use this for all of your kids and I used it with mine and it works like a charm. Hope it helps!!❤

I’m not saying you have to be mean or beat her. When do you propose we stop letting kids whine to get their way with pretty much everything? 2, 5, 18? This is a lifelong process that starts early. I understand being tired or upset. But when you whine to hold the baby just because your sister is and they take the baby and give it to you, that’s confirming she can get her way by whining. It’s simple really. You need to have consistent boundaries.

Try positive reinforcement for good behaviour if the time out etc isnt working. Something thats visual for her. Like a star chart. Working towards small goal/prize then bigger 1. Use specific things eg dressing self, listening ears, etc. i do this for my kids. Works so well. Decide how many stars earn small prize, and how many more = bigger prize (nothing food related) Also try doing individual times with girls eg dad & Bryer, mom & Bryer, etc. then they get the 1 on 1 and helps adjust to new baby and attn taken off them by a newborn in the house

Hey churco fammm Ik u asked for some tips on helping blakeley listen and I have some yall might wanna try, 1. I haven’t seen u scold her but I can bet that when u do, she just laughs and thinks it’s a joke. So use a stern tone and make direct eye contact. At first she might still think its a joke but once she sees ur not messing around she’ll understand 2. I wanna put emphasis on this because I feel like u guys do this alot but, *stop praising and rewarding your kids for no reason.* It’s hard because u love them so much, but it will kill ur chances of trying to get her to listen. you have to know when to stop giving her extra for not doing anything right. 3. Lastly, this is one of the most important ones that almost all parents mess up in. SAY WHAT YOU WANT TO SAY. You HAVE to stay consistent with ur rules. Do not try and sympathize with your kids because u feel bad. Ik u guys are such amazing parents, I hope these work. ❤❤❤

Adjusting from two to three is a challenge and more so with young children and babies at home. Bryer still one years old and is probably still teething and still getting use to the fact that she have to share mom. Dont forget Blakeley had you her all to herself for a time before her little sister came where bryer is only use to one on one hugging time with mama that she now have to share so the trick with her might be to scedule little one on one time and it will resolve it place once Bryer realise she's not losing her place. For the change in Blakeley they are typical of a 3 years old so i would no be to alarm. A good reward/consequence systeme could be since Blakeley love flower : By a number of her favorite false flower and a vase. Each day that is a good day, you let her put a flower in the vase and after a number of flower decided by you, she get to go to her favorite store and by a toys or something else. If she have a bad they with more than three warning she dont get to put a flower. It will save u from going to Target every couple of days for new toys and can be a good reward system. Both both girls are extremely bright and you'll see those issues go when they grow. You both are great parents and doing a good job♥^^. Only trick i can say after that : Dont wish them to grow up to fast and let them be kids because they'll grow fast and one day you look back and wish they were still little.

What I have learned when discipline a child I will have to say instead of time out give her time by herself, put her in the room with no TV and tell her do not touch the toys. Give her like 10 to 15 minutes by herself and let her know that every time she do not listen, she have to be by herself now if you do time out in the room with you guys, she doesn’t feel like it’s a big deal, but if you isolate her, somehow it triggers in their brain that they are doing wrong when they are isolated so try isolating her for like 10 or 15 minutes by herself

Don't listen to this person. Not only is that traumatising, but you risk having your children taken away.

My nephew has loved broccoli since about Bakey’s age and he still loves it today. He’s now almost 16. As far as the jealousy, it will pass. As kids they feel like since there is another baby that they aren’t as important. As they learn that they are still just as important as the new baby they will adjust and return to their sweet little selves.

One tip for "discipline" do NOT hit your children, EVER I feel your not the type of parents to do that but I got hit as "discipline" and it causes life long trauma so please don't hit your kids! I know you probably wont but just being sure! sorry if this is offensive

I got spanked as a child many many times and it didn't cause me no kind of trauma. Children have to be disciplined I'm not saying abuse them there is a huge difference between the two but parents have to discipline their children otherwise you got chulgrtting in trouble with the law and that's not good. Just saying!
