@@TheSailingFamily some vegetation has grown in the places you've shown. Tavarua looked pretty much the same from drone view. The resort you visited where they (Fijians) performed for you folks I don't remember. There were coconut plantations on Vitilevu/Nandi areas but didnt see them in your video blog. Fiji was so nice to visit your videos make me ache to go back. Thanks so much for sharing your wonderful family & adventures with us here at home. I went into that cave on my own! I had heard about it and wanted to see it. My torch went out half way in but it was too late to turn back. Finally I cam up inside for air. Pitch black! Banged my torch and it came on. Was I relieved.

Your videos keep solidifying in me that I want to do this lifestyle so bad! I’m currently working my dream job and plan to save as much as I can and maybe retire early to do this? I’m curious your opinion on both timeline to experience this (ie take a career break and do it then go back to work x years later or retire early) and also what’s the best way to test to see if I truly could do this? Financially it was a horrible decision to go now, but we are so glad we did. You never know what can happen next. Health problems, family issues, financial issues, a pandemic - all could derail your future plans. If you can go now, go now! You only live once... That was our thinking. As for testing out this lifestyle, yes, you should absolutely take a week-long bareboat charter and see if you like it. We've always used The Moorings, who also own Sunsail and Barefoot charters. Google them and pick a location. This is what I did with my parents when I was 18 - and the dream was born! ~Seth
