i have the newer mezco one and my friend has this, i can say they are pretty much on equal ground, articulation is good on both but mafex has better, i also love the jim lee art style. but i prefer the mezco because it has more accessories and i like to have a smiling superman

Superman is an exceptional being and has influenced the entire superhero genre because he started it.

Did you watch any Donner Reeve films ?? Superman doese train as well. In all star Superman the graphic novel it dives into the fortress of solitude and the methods of training he goes through to test his increasing abilities and strength. There's also the period of time after death of superman where he's resurrected and had to regain his strength gradually. Even in MOS directed by Zack Snider jorel states that in time his abilities will increase as he trains. Batman has only defeated Superman with Kryptonite and only insanely rich can obtain it. That's only two people in the DC franchise. Lex luthor and Bruce Wayne. Superman gives batman kryptonite just in case he goes rogue. Other than that Superman is also a complex character who is an orphan trying to embrace humanity and his place in a human society. There are many moments where he's felt estranged from it as some people may in our world. He has many friends and eventually married Lois. The sad thing is that he will out live all of them. That speaks to those who are afraid of losing their loved ones. As a kid he was distant from other kids because his parents didn't want his secret to get out. I can relate to that. I grew up in a religious family, my father was an elder of the Jehovah's witness church and prohibited me from hanging out with any kids at school. Many kids in that organization have that same experience. Also the fact that he grew as an Alien resident from another planet seaking a place in society speaks to those who are immigrants who seak the American dream. There's many reasons why Superman is a relatable character. Those are just a few. I doubt you have any real knowledge about the character.
