I decided to choose a second giveaway winner because Omo A. correctly guessed the spiral size size with confidence! I wasn't expecting anyone to do that. Congrats to you both. I enjoyed reading your responses from rag curls, to magnetic rollers. I will be trying the ones that I've never used before. Thank you!
I recently watched my first curlformers video and noticed the rollers looked like they were inching in, so I checked to see if I could roll them up to save space and sleep well. I'm sure many of us have wondered if there was another way. One of the main reasons why I don't use curlformers often is because they are annoying to sleep in despite the gorgeous results. Tell me if I should try the smaller (corkscrew) size. I already have 40, but I'll need to buy more.

I tried this after watching your video. I have a mixture of branded and off brand curlformers. I noticed the branded ones rolled up very easily but the off brand I had to readjust your instructions because they kept popping out but eventually I got them to stay. Thank you for the cool idea!

Which ones are better curl formers or flexi pods( or whatever I'm kinda new)??

Flexi rods are better because they give you more control over how the hair is wrapped, so you know in advance if your curls will be great. You can also test to see if they are dry. With curlformers, you find out when you remove them.

That's wonderful! I'm glad my videos have helped you. I use spoolies, flexi rods, and perm rods. Flexi rods give me the most versatility and I can create different types of curls and waves with the same roller.

My hair lasts a few days with mousse. Try a botanical gel like flax seed gel. My hair lasted a week with that.

this method flattens the curl. The barrel size is increased by rolling the fabric onto itself..I would rather use perm rods or wet set rollers. But it's good to know. We can see the possibilities and an alternative function instead of having all kinds of rollers and sometimes too many rollers.

It does that for me when my part is too big. I have only 40 curlformers Wich is not enough for my hair, so I try big sections and then it get stuck.

Make sure the hook is pointing upward, like toward the ceiling. Also roll your roots almost like you are starting a bantu knot, gently. Perhaps make the sections almost the same size as the curlformer?
