I use curlformers on the regular and these are excellent tips. I use a light, moisturizing leave in like TGIN’s leave in or the Mielle pomegranate leave in and I do prefer to set mine under a dryer.

I'm going to try the foam you suggested with foam rollers. I need to buy some real curlformers the knockoffs were hard and felt damaging so I only used them once or twice before I lost track of them (I think they got left when I moved).

Not down in those Shirley Temple curls, no ma'am. NOT CUTE (in my opinion). I just use them to stretch my hair for other styling (a bun, updo or something more "long term" like kinky twists).

Great tips T! How about I had bought 2 sets of the curlformers a few years ago, but I didn't use them that much. The first time I attempted to use them it felt like I was yanking my hair out by the roots smh. I gave them away earlier this year. I may consider buying them again in the future.
