Inuits and certain East African tribes which consume similar diets to these Khyrgyz have markedly low life expectancy, usually topping out at 45. On the other hand, when Okinawans were found to have had the longest average life expectancy on Earth, their diet was almost 100% vegan. This diet is a product of necessity, not luxury. These people cannot afford to eat any other way, and they are paying with their health.

I ate a meal with some nomadic herders. They offered me an eye with some meat. I said I did not like it and they laughed. I asked if they are eyes, they said no, they gave them to the dogs, but they had been assured over the years that Westerners loved eyes and it was seen as a great honour to be offered one. They thought is was a disgusting thing to eat. I suspect there is a long running inter-cultural joke here.

Most rural Afghans eat the best quality food likely on the planet. Not industrialized. Always fresh. No pesticides cause it's too expensive, so they use natural ways to rid farms of pests. If quality of food at Whole Foods was like those of Afghans, it would be very expensive. For instance, Sprouts sells fresh milk at $15 a gallon. Afghans drink fresh cow's milk most every day! There is poverty in Afghanistan, but as World Health Organization observed, Afghans are the healthiest of the world's poor, and Afghanistan is considered one of the poorest countries on the planet. Afghanistan is a surprise in every way. Most don't understand this country that unfortunately finds itself at the center of super power machinations. Also, Afghans did NOT participate in any way, shape, or form in the 9-11 attacks on the US.

Brother !! You are right that their ethnicity is Mangols or we call it Asians but Trust me they are from Afghanistan and I met lots of them in Badakhshan .. Yeah but they are kazakhs or kygyz and now they are Afghans. I know where Hazara people live in Afghanistan. Hazaras and kazaksh are different tribes
