If you ever get stuck in a rip, remain calm and swim parallel to the beach. Rips will only take you out behind the waves if it does start to pull you back. Most people get into trouble in rips because they freak out. You can identify a rip it's normally where the waves are not breaking and you'll see a bit of a current. It's not always easy to identify though :)

On Bondi Rescue they say “Float to Survive” as the rip will take you out a bit and then back to shore. It was really interesting to watch 😊

My dad was diagnosed with cancer in February so I know how hard it is to see them go through that and the emotions you experience can be shattering. Stay strong. You have all got this. Joe, when your bare feet are connecting to the earth and the ocean water at the same time you are getting the ultimate earthing experience baby. You feel so good when you do that because all of your senses are being engaged at once and you are being donated free flowing electrons from the earth and sea. It's an absolute gift to us so we never have to feel lost or alone or full of anxiety.

I just wanted to say a huge thank you for entertaining me in December with your brilliant vlogmas. Also so glad your both in Australia. Dianne has worked her dancing feet off for 3 solid months and it’s lovely to see her finally relaxing and having some down time. Bumbry surely is a stunning place. I feel relaxed just watching. The little possum never seen one in real life, how flipping cute. I love Dianne’s family they are the best. The garden is looking amazing to me, Dianne’s mum has a masterpiece there she has done very well with the garden. As for Mark, well I’m glad you have been able to be with him. How bloody brave is he. Watching with envy, I have been in UK for 22 years but from Perth originally…. Great to see that Mark is doing so well. I remember those Tiny Teddy’s but chocolate ones from my childhood…. Caramello Koalas and Violet Crumble are my particular favs. My husband was in Perth recently and he bought back half a suitcase full of lollies, chips, etc. Gutted they stopped making “Fantales”…. Cherry picking what we “share” with the kids….. Looks like you are having a very relaxing holiday after all the recent craziness in the UK. happy Xmas

Love the vlogs 😀. You need to go and check out the Goose and Goat Craft butcher in Bunbury. Joe they do the best Sausages Rolls Ever. Also you need to do the Tim tam slam. Make a tea (or a coffee) nip the opposite corners of a Tim tam, then drink the tea like a straw through the Tim tam. 😉
