2. Both players are ONLY allowed 1 Pokemon to catch per 10 floors, then those 2 pokemon are linked forever! If one Pokemon dies, the other goes down with it!
2. You CAN'T have 2 Pokemon with the same primary typing on your own team! (Example: I can't have 2 fire types, but I can have 1 and Shady have 1)
3. If either player white outs, it's GAME OVER!

I've been seeing people playing pokerogue live all the time but it was so hard to actually get start myself! But watching you guys play the start a lot it made me able to play! This is unintentionally a great tutorial for people who've never played

Started my own run-through of PokeRogue after seeing you guys playing it, and it went well! Got a Yveltal via Egg and got it's passive (Soul Heart). Swept the entirety of the game with it and then learned the hard way that Yveltal's Passive breaks the game if you kill the Final Boss with it while it's passive is active (stat boost activates, and then the game crashes). So, hopefully my next run gets the same luck, just gotta remember to not kill Final Boss with a mon that has a Stat Boost when KO ability this time. But, regardless, always happy to see you guys going at it again, hopefully that Legendary Egg gives you something good, and I hope yall have fun playing the game!

Just a couple of things that could probably help you with the early game, only use lures if you're desperately looking for a mon (be it specific for the area you're in or so you ensure getting pair), As exp you get in double battles in massively reduced so it isn't worth the risk most of time. Try and be more efficient with money in the buying phase, remember the key battle numbers, and lastly use the vitamin items; especially when you have a main carry.

If the person who dies first is on the higher level, the other person should be able to go to that level. Otherwise hatching eggs could take longer for whoever is slower.

one of the best things to have is a mon with the ability pickup because it steals berries just by being in your party, then during the reward stage use the transfer button to swap the stolen berries to a mon that you want.

Watched you guys for years but never tried a fan game until now. Played Pokerogue Saturday after watching your video. First run made it to 25th floor and got a legendary egg. It hatched on run 5 into Articuno. 6th run made it to floor 145 before getting swept by the rivals Rayquaza

Hey guys. I love the content of this game. But hear me out, and please don't take this as a negative, I'm just trying to help, but 2 pokemon on a team is actually really good because you distribute the EXP evenly between the 2 pokemon instead of having other mons that are weak and then having your strong pokemon die and then you get cooked because your team is under leveled. Also gym leaders are ten times better than boss pokemon because you get way more exp and you get an egg voucher which you can get legendary pokemon from like zacian and Rayquaza. So you get those 2 benefits for a little bit of a harder battle. Please keep up the great content and just have fun while playing and I will be happy. And I hope those tips helped out a little bit

i am up to 1376 shinies caught thanks to the shiny events, and i've hatched 41 too. i have a few rare/epic shiny legendaries and probably around 30ish red shinies total (including nacli and mawile) so very cool stuff for me

Pro tip, Water Drain Shellos. Breaks the game if you get the map, cause you can go through the Lake. Which leads to the Construction Site. Which leads to the Power Plant. Or it can sometimes go to the ocean. On evo it gets ground typing and Recover. Add on it's egg move of Freeze Dry and it's chillin through anything. Scorching Sands and Surf do the rest. Beat classic with it, Shiny Starly, Shiny Pichu, Mankey, Sobble. And Rogenrola. Weak Armor's bad until it evolves, then it's good for setting up rocks and exploding. I caught the last two pre-evolved though. Boldore and Inteleon.

I just started playing PokeRogue today in college, and gotta say it’s really good. And i used Dylan’s strat of starting with Fuecoco, Mudkip, Bulbasaur and caught myself a Wurmple and Rookieide and Poocheana and i am at almost level 30 and now have Croconaw, Ivysaur, Marshtomp, Dusktops, Corvisquire and Maitheana.And i saved my file after class to come home, gonna play tonight as well.

Rare Candy is kinda bupkus after the 30th floor, I'd much rather get EXP Charms and EXP Alls early. Also, Dylan popping off for catching an easy catch mon is quite humorous. We've all done it when it's a very helpful mon.

After watching my favorite dads on the internet, I decided to try this out and I must say... I AM ADDICTED! PokeRogue is so much fun! I've beaten the classic run a few times now (also failed a few on the final boss lol) But I now know for all my future playthroughs to make sure I have a Ghost type. Curse combined with Protect is pretty much a guaranteed victory vs the final boss.

Man, if you're gonna be walking a long distance, a bit of baby powder between the legs goes a long way. Keeps them dry but gives enough of a buffer so that you're not taking skin off

Couple things that help immensely with the chafe. Good underwear (I usually go with fabletics lined shorts) and spray on deodorant. It works wonders. Can’t go to Disney without it.

I managed to get Iron Thorns from an Epic egg and it has been HARD carrying me ever since. He starts with Rock Throw, Thunder Fang and Ice Fang so he has perfect coverage for every starter and is obviously insanely strong
