Glad you finally made your trip and weren’t affected too much by Eunice, Franklin (no personal or property damage), other than inconvenience. (But I’ll bet that the first beer in Cambridge tasted especially good!) I’m planning a long (3-4 wks) UK trip in September to visit friends and do a pub tour with my sons. So fair warning - be prepared for bad weather😂!

Yes! I will never underestimate windy weather warnings here in the UK again - lesson learned. We hit the pub immediately upon arrival lol

I was down on the South coast and wanted to film the sea coming over the wall but I couldn't risk it with roof slates (not mine} and dustbins flying everywhere so played safe and stayed indoors. The damage to the O2 arena showed just how strong the wind was. So glad you made it safely to Cambridge.

I was very surprised to see the O2 roof just blowing away in the wind! Glad you played it safe - sounds like the coastal regions got hit pretty hard.

Hope you managed to appreciate Cambridge after all that! It’s an hour and a bit by road (non rush hour) and far more relaxing. I used to commute to L/Bridge by motorcycle and about 10 years ago Eunice’s kid sister kept me company all the way home. I counted 47 lightening strikes on the journey! You’re doing a fine job with your vlogs, it’s fun to see us thru a new pair of eyes. Is it me or does your man have a touch of the Ben Affleck’s about him?🤔

That kind of wind and stormy weather on a motorcycle would be an adrenaline rush for sure - it's no wonder you remember how many lightning strikes! I'm glad you are enjoying the episodes. I agree, watching videos of others' perspectives as is always interesting! Speaking of... I have never been able to pin down which celebrity Eric reminds me of, but now that you say Affleck - he does have some similar mannerisms I think!
