Yes, that's how you play vanilla mage. The bulk of your damage is going be through maintaining ignite after stacking fire vuln on the mob.

Yeah, vanilla is mind numbingly boring cancer and the mutants who play it might literally give you cancer if you play alongside them and listen to them talk as if they’re skilled. And then there’s me who has zero idea what’s going on in wow since cata 2012 and still got rank 1 twice and gladiator 4 times since then doing nothing.
