I had my truck (about 75% the size of Fancy Hawk) Ceramic Coated at the start of April, the number one benefit of the coating is just how easy it is to keep the truck clean now. I had the windscreen done as well and in the rain I almost don't need to use the wipers.

the bug count on the truck is down by 75% too I would say - they just slide right off and only the really juicy ones stick lol 😝 Martin did the first wash and it was less than an hour - we are definitely impressed and so happy we took our truck there for this!

Really smart looking KW you've got.. I wish trucks here in the UK still sounded like this😔. They were common in the 80's and 90's nowadays, though they sound pretty muted compared to back then, a Cat, Cummins or DD is such a rare treat on the roads over here now.

The guy at Moses forgot to mention one thing though, if the truck is covered in mud or sand or something, you want to blast that off with a pressure washer first before doing you contact wash and don't forget to prewash with a thick layer of foam to soften up the mud and grime. And now that it has a coating on it, don't take it to the truckwash they typically use non-ph-neutral wash to cut through roadfilm as fast as possible as they don't have time to wait for the soap to do it's job and that will ruin the coating faster than you can make the money to pay for a new coating.

not all ceramic coating is equal - I had a car done with another product elsewhere and it only lasted 3 months! That’s why we choose Bob Moses because theirs has an average life of 8 years - been watching them a couple years now on the RV end and have been so impressed with what I’ve been seeing and how peoples pickups and RV’s have been holding up and still look amazing years later

Danny’s Big Rig resort also has a nice truck stop component as well. Yes, it is paid parking but It is well worth it to me. No? Just look at the flying J across the street. Enough said. Your truck looks much better than new. Since that is a working truck, keeping it looking that way will be a challenge. Great video. So, am I correct in assuming that you bobtailed down there because you were planning on getting this done to the truck? No trailer and no time limitations makes it easier. 😎

yes this was planned and on the calendar for a few months now so we made a family vacation out of it and got a rental car and air bnb.. Fun fact, Martin and I met at Danny’s there in Phoenix many years ago and that paid parking was definitely worth it 😂 We will keep the channel updated on how this all holds up, I been following Bob Moses for a couple years now on the RV coating they do so I’m pretty confident this is going to be what they say it is from my research and watching others with their experience. 🙂

Oh I see he's presenting chemicals from his place to you. Great - but the chemicals that I know of you don't have to do any touching of the truck whatsoever. You just have to spray on wait a few minutes and spray off and it's beautiful!
