Don't change a thing about your approach to these videos. In this crazy world, it's just so nice to hear two good people sharing stories. The banter, the humor. I'm glad that your channel is starting to become more focused on how wonderful you two are as people instead of being focused on people's shock that someone could love someone in a wheelchair. Thank you to both of you. ♡

I could listen to your stories for days and be entertained. You asked about other people's throwing up experiences. I was in my twenties and was downtown and saw all kinds of people gathering around and went up to ask what was going on. Someone said that Prince Edward was in town to present some awards. Being a royal watcher since I was raised by a mother who was a huge fan of the royal family, I decided to try to find the best place I could to stand and wait to see him. A bunch of people were going in to the new hotel to stand and I went in too. The hotel staff were scurrying around putting their final touches on everything to make it look perfect for the occasion. I stood and waited and waited and waited. Something was causing the Prince to run super late and I was getting more and more light headed. It was warm and I had been standing for several hours by this time. It was getting really close to him showing up and I didn't want to lose my front row spot so I stood and stood and waited. Finally I knew I was going to be ill and/or pass out and headed for the bathroom. The only problem was that since the hotel was so new there were no signs showing where the bathroom was and after trying several hallways I finally found a small seating area and sat down, put my head between my knees and threw up all over their lovely carpet. No one came to ask if I was okay but all sorts of cleaning staff came over and started to clean up before the prince came. I skulked off in shame and ended up never seeing the Prince after all.

I was at a wine walk with my mom, grandma sister, and nine month old baby. It was the first time I had drank since having my baby. I got so drunk. While at dinner I threw up in a cup dumped in the bush next to me, and continued eating my meal. Thankfully we were eating outside.

@SquirmyandGrubs OMG🙋🏽♀️! Mobile, AL is my hometown. Whenever I go home I visit “Spot of Tea” with my mom. Next time you two should try Wintzell’s Oyster House downtown. Then take the I-10 causeway to go “Felix Fish Camp”… trust me 😊. Also, visit Botanical Gardens… it’s an accessible place, but double check that it meets your needs. Im so happy to hear you mention my hometown. I haven’t lived there since leaving for college, but recently with remote jobs I have been visiting my mom more often and I’ve definitely fallen in love with Mobile even more as an adult. I plan to build a tiny house next to my mom’s home so I can visit as a second home. Then if you have more time go to Fairhope town center… it is the cutest few blocks of little shops, restaurants, and beautiful homes surrounding. Go back and enjoy!

Also side note, take this however you like but it be cool if both of you are going to be traveling every winter away from Minnesota, what if you get like a one bedroom apartment in L.A. if you know you'll come many more years and maybe Air bnb it whenever your not there. Just a thought :).

Great memories. Made me think about a wedding reception I was at. After the guests left there was 1/2 a keg of beer left. Well who wants to waste 1/2 a keg of beer. We decided to play keep up with the keg. It was summertime in Nazareth Pa. I remember everything spinning around. Alls I could do was lay down in the grass under a tree. Eventually the spinning stopped. I haven’t experienced that sensation since.

Glass bathrooms are my least favorite thing about traveling in Europe (and Australia). I once went to a conference with my dad, and we shared a room - which had a lightly frosted glass bathroom with a giant, hideous donkey painted on the side that faced the beds. It did not obscure the toilet from plain view from anywhere in the room. We asked the staff for an extra bedsheet and some duct tape, so we could cover the bathroom wall! The Yotel also sounds like a very special place.

When my kids were young, I used to carry around a plastic bag just in case. However, 30 years later, while picking my grandson up from school, he announced he was going to throw up. So I told him to grab one of my reusable grocery bags! He did. It was easy to clean up,nothing got on the car seat. Grocery bags can save the day!

I tossed my cookies down a stairwell at Termini Station in Rome while on vacation with a friend. There were a couple very pissed Italian cleaning ladies down there but I think they felt bad afterwards because I couldn't stop puking and crying as I tried to get to the bathroom. Of course this is the moment I forgot how to say "I'm sorry" in Italian (it's "Mi dispiace!") and instead only remembered "Mi scusi!" which is actually "Pardon me!" The most polite of barfers.

I've been lucky to only throw up a handful of times and never in public. The closest call was when I was out to eat with my parents a few years ago. I was so stressed about my dad visiting that I was insanely nauseous, but knowing it was stress and that I hadn't eaten all day, figured I would eat and it would be okay. It was, but I literally had to force down every bite and was SURE it wasn't going to stay there. Once he left, I ate my food at home and was completely fine (we are currently not speaking). And when I was little (like maybe 3-5) at a restaurant with my parents. I guess I ate too fast, and thought it was going to come back up. My mom flagged down a waitress who rushed us over to the corner where they stacked the (empty and clean) bins they used to bus tables. About half way there, I realized I was fine though.
