You can use the seats from the donor engine truck, that driver seat is way nicer. I think once you have it all built, you gotta drive it through ole cleets pond. At least part of it. Its like putting a bow on a new vehicle but the Florida edition.

Hey when you go to start them compressor there a switch to run in a idle or a bypass on the air. Meaning it don’t build air but starts really better. Because as long as it was trying to start it was building air which puts a bigger load on starter

I am a old man, or at least feel that way. 73 is supposed to be the old fifty I have been told but being a mechanic for most of my life, now out of the circulation of equipment since 2005, really wish and miss the field of wrenching. I am so old school, I know that the new rigs all have better creature comforts and all but did you ever see a divorced transfer case, the 205 ever really break down often. Yes anything given time gives up, kinda like my body with all the lumbar crushed and a neck broken in two different places leaving me with no ability to turn my head. Pain is a normal day for me. I loved anything that burned diesel and follow your channel because of your talents with the diesel engines. I had up until time of injury, a OBS, a 95 super duty quad cab 4x4 with the long flatbed from aluminum bed, boxes, nice welder and compressor system. I really liked the style of the bodies for 95 to 97 and my 7.3 was super tuned to get more power, forget all the stuff I had done by someone who specialized in this engine. I basically gave it to someone because I could no longer drive and it broke my heart to see it set with less than a hundred thousand on speedometer. It was a flawless condition truck garaged most of its life... check all the boxes for the add ons at the factory or dealership. I was a hobby miner here in Alaska where I have lived most of my life. Found a few nuggets and got the fever as most all do. So I used it to haul my diesel for the excavator and other crap that goes with doing a hobby that took a months wage to go for a few days. Can't live forever so have fun while you can is my motto. Someone said, "If your not having fun, your doing it wrong" and I do still believe it.

Hey buddy I’d definitely be interested in the LBZ out of the duramax or even the hole truck!!! I have an LBZ now a 2007 and it has over a million miles and I haven’t had to do anything at all to it!!! The only thing I do to it is change the oil every 5,000 to 6,000 mile and change the fuel filter every other oil change!!! It’s definitely been one of the best trucks I’ve ever had but I’m definitely looking for another one!!!! Let me no if you would be interested in selling it please!!!!!

my dream truck is a 99-03 7.3 powerstroke crew cab 4x4 dually ive been trying to find one for 15+ years now im gonna do a 1 off build when i find the right truck i also wanna do a build on a srw 99-03 7.3 cre cab 4x4 i like the 7.3 they are true pre emissions(no egr or def or dpf) can easily be tuned and are known to go million miles or more (highest i know of is over 2.5 million miles on a factory engine and trans(zf5)

I know almost nothing about diesel engines. I am hoping to buy a older one (before the DPF crap) and completely tear it down and rebuild it so I have a chance to learn along the way. Same with a skidsteer. Planning on getting a older broken down one and rebuilding it to learn. I like channels like yours because it gives me a chance to learn, so I appreciate your time and effort into this channel. Hopefully I can find one like that 4 door chevy you got. Oh and wear your seatbelt ;)
