I worked at a AMVETS Bookkeeping/accounting which over looked the back where they threw EVERYTHING AWAY THAT DIDN'T SELL IN 30 DAYS. Watched them throw whole sets of dinnerware, antique furniture(literally the guys had to destroy things with sledgehammers. Employees were not allowed to have ANY OF IT EVEN THOUGH IT WAS BEING DESTROYED AND FILLING UP THE LANDFILLS. The cost of the dumpsters and 3 collections every week. The cost was over $10k every week. Which led to buying crushers and then their own incinerator. I was sickened by the wastefulness, and they only give 2% of total sales after all expenses to the VETERANS CHARITY. And you wouldn't believe the way the managers would STEAL, THEY WOULD LOAD UP THEIR TRUCKS WITH WHO KNOWS WHAT VALUABLE ITEMS ON A SCHEDULE EVERY WEEKEND. I QUIT I couldn't watch this and knew the measly amount given to the charity, it's a HUGE RACKET.
