I freaked out when you threw the drawer (cardboard insert thing) out from the Barbie case, because you NEVER, EVER throw anything out that comes with a vintage Barbie no matter how gross you think it is. A Barbie collector would know how to take that sticky glue off, because the value is in the WHOLE case, and you threw out something that makes it worth less now in value. I hope you retrive that drawer, and put it back in the case.

Some books are worth money, and things that you may think are old dirty and want to donate, please research on eBay (under already sold for highest amount) Sometimes I feel like you guys under value some good finds and storage lockers are game changers if you do it right. Don’t focus on the obvious all the time, there’s so much out there that’s priceless to some people.

My dad has owned a storage business for maybe 3 years now. I've never seen one so organized! All the units that are behind in rent are usually trashed and most of the suff has to be thrown away. One guy had floor to ceiling trash in three of the largest units. My dad had to pay almost $2000 to clean out all three. 🤢🤮

That storage is "staged". That's what we that do this for a living call it... "staged". That's why the iPhone boxes are in view on the pics. Sometimes the storage managers do it and sometimes the auctioneers are in cahoots with the property owners/managers. In this case It was niether. This was a scam or a flip that actual storage renter did. Sometimes they do it to get money for what their about to loose but sure enough people do this as an income. They will fill a storage with items they don't want or can't sell from multiple storage auctions they themselves bought or stuff they got free. Sometimes it's landlords that clean out rentals then put the belongings in storage then auction it off. Either way this is a staged unit. I've been doing this since 1991 and promise you that since storage auctions started going online that the staged storage sheds is too often the case. The shed is made tidy with expensive items placed in view so it looks like it's all great to rack up the bids. The poster will also have shill bidding going on from their other accounts or friends. Anytime you see a storage shed kept in this shape you should question it. Then when you find out the storage is from the actual renter that's not locked out of it you should really see red flags.

I have noticed that the best storage units are the ones with stuff just thrown into them. I have never lost money on a unit, but the tidy ones are usually not worth bidding on because if it is a legit unit the owners knew what to grab out of it before they let the rent get out of their control.

The plastic sheets you found go with the black laminater. You put picture's or important papers you want to protect in between the sheets and run them thru the laminater to seal it.

I used to fence (don't judge) Both of those foils are right handers, so they will be easy to sell. The problem will be finding a fencer who wants them. They are looking vintage, and not special. They are not horribly beat, but have some wear.I'm thinking value them at $35-$45 each. Maybe more depending, but I'd say a solid $40 each. Not for me though. I'm a lefty, and I was more epee and saber not foil. Still, here are fencing clubs and schools around, and students are always wanting used foils, as new ones are $100 and up, so $40 is a good deal. Hell bro, 2 crossed foils look bitchin on a wall for $80 even for non fencers to own.

Tucker and Sammie, go get that Barbie case drawer box back out of the trash. It is one of the built-in drawers that sit in the bottom of each side of the case. The one side is sticky because that is the side that is "glued" to the case bottom for each drawer. The beige part of the drawer sits with the open side pointing out. The red part is the drawer that slides in and out of the beige box. My sister had that same black case, and I had a blue case. Will increase the value SIGNIFICANTLY if you put it back in.

You guys SO crack me up (and make me feel old) ... those Mikasa dinnerware pieces could be worth some good money on eBay rather than flea mkt ... people have sets they got when they got married (like I did) that need replacement pieces! It was a private seller unit. My buddy has bought a few like this over the years. Most likely the woman they met there paid to list it on the site and took care of everything with the auction company and storage facility. It does seem odd but sometimes they do go down this way.

The black USI thing is a thermal pouch laminating machine. Brand new can cost around $100---check out the model number. The plastic sheets Sammi found earlier (at 36:14 minutes) are the thermal laminating pouches. At Walmart a package of 100 count costs around $11.
