Also, you can put cups with white vinegar around the house, works great.

What do the cups of white vinegar do? Take away smells, I've never heard this but I love using vinegar and baking soda to clean around the house!

@@Legend0222 yes, we rented a house one time and it had been closed up for months. We puts cups of vinegar all around and it got rid of the musty smell. I use vinegar a lot.

Congrats! Older homes are so fun. We bought a house built in 1973 18 months ago. Similar to yours, the outside is beautiful with mature trees, flowers, and green lawns. We've had fun remodeling it. :)

The house we moved into this time last year is a 60s house and we are just coming to the end of our renovations (in the UK). The big thing was rewiring. Everything was running off extension leads!
