Call me stupid but the key goes in the hole in the center console and then you press on it to start so to me it looks like it’s there at 8:33 Idk if this one doesn’t have the center hole for the key but usually in astons it goes in between the R and N buttons

A sapphire key is about $1400-2000 if you want one, the plastic option is a lot cheaper! I don't think it has too many miles, judging by the seats & interior, plus the battery is under one of the rear seats. If you need to replace it there is a particular process to do it without then having to reset ALL the control modules (windows, ice, seats, etc) which probably involves hooking up a battery charger to avoid any break in continuity of the electrical supply. The ICE can be upgraded (Android Auto & Apple CarPlay + cameras) significantly by Aston Engineering, again in the UK but if you call them I'm sure they now have a US partner who can do the work. Their website has a few relevant KZbin videos on what's involved!

Possibly the key is in the key slot? I can’t tell at a glance on the video. Poke the slot with your finger to check if the key is in the slot. Also search under the seats, glove box, door panel pockets, etc. Do a thorough search of the interior and trunk.

You guys are so lucky. I live in Saginaw, MI, and around here an exotic salvage car is a Camaro or a Crovette. I would love to see a Ferrari or an Aston for sale around here. I have only seen one salvage Ferrari around here in 20 years, and it was a junky 80's Mondial. I did pick off an 87 Carrera Cabriolet and rebuilt it, but that is the rarest thing I have seen around here. I love your new Virage. It is so cool. I hope it's an easy fix for you guys, and Yes, I remember reading about the Virage. So cool!!!

Car Wizard just reviewed a Carbon Black version (1 of 250) . . . without that key, almost nothing works. Then, you can't disconnect the battery without a special procedure, or you'll have to reprogram all the modules . . . tedious job. Time consuming. Good luck . . . a lot of FORD parts, but better hope the brakes aren't damaged . . . thousands of $$$
