The chassis is basically the frame of the vehicle, commonly found in trucks, pickups, and heavier vehicles. The thingy on the back of trucks are 5th wheels where the trailer attaches to the rig. It needs to be greased because it’s basically a platform that locks onto the trailer, lets it rotate, and supports the weight of the trailer.
