@@taylor5065 Its a normal mod like any other meant to be played and since air has an entire tree to it with custom models and all its meant to be used, it should just be balanced properly and the AI should care more about AA. To just say not to use it is pretty stupid, might as well not play it at all if you have to ignore certain parts. Its not a barebone framework.

Would be very excited to see more regular Old World Blues tbh. It's such a great mod. NCR is very different and fun now, so is Lanius Cohort. If you want to skirt around Fallout 2 canon, you can bring the enclave back with Eureka.' If you want to skirt closer to FNV canon, playing New Canaan, losing the war to the White Legs and getting Joshua Graham as the new country leader, reconquering your home and then going after Caesar is also super fun. The super mutant nations in Texas are also all very fun if you're looking for something non-canon.

You can puppet new victoria, which is a vanilla nation and turn it into canada EDIT - Just looked it up - he played as the Kingdom of Manitoba, which is vanilla content.

Mod's geography is a little scuffed with how big it tries to make the factions, like how the Andale Cannibals own coastal Virginia and how Adams AFB would be just South of D.C., but because Rivet City controls everything from D.C. to Point Lookout, they put Adams AFB all the way across the Chesapeake Bay.

Hey @iSorrowproductions it's possible the crash might be from the Baja territories trying to do a focus/existing. I personally always get crashes towards the mid/late game if I don't make the NCR re-annex them. Hope this helps and glad to see you playing OWB again!

If you’re ever interested in a book’s worth of not evil super mutant story on a Saturday night, give OWB: Unity in Texas a swing. Overhauls the Unity of Austin-a super mutant member of the Texan Economic Union and the only truly human-friendly super mutant nation on the map-and adds a fat load of content and story. Might not be everyone’s cup of tea, but I’d like to think it’s got a healthy enough combination of gameplay and exposition to be worth a look. :)

I hope we get a short series of isorrow checking out some of the other nations in the mod and its sub-mods, I'm pretty sure you can get the entire map filled using specific sub-mods like Rust Belt Rising and the one he used in this video (though some, like New England Rising, are entirely just to fill the map and don't have any content beyond that right now iirc). And ofc, we can't talk about Old World Blues sub-mods without mentioning Enclave Reborn Redux which has a whole bunch of content, definitely worth a try imo. As for base mods factions iirc Pioneer Company, Kingdom of Manitoba, Twin Mothers, MacArthur and Montana Brotherhood are all really good, Pioneer Company is probably my favourite. Also, the big players of the previous Fallout games like the NCR, Ceaser's Legion, and Texan Brotherhood are worth checking out imo.

Don't know if you will read this, but if you want a really good start into the mod, you can obviously go for the NCR or Caesar, those are no brainers (even tho the enemies tend to actually be challenging even to the Brotherhood of Steel) There're a few good nations to try before going into the real shit imo : - Tlalocan & Ejercito Mexicano, both are robot nations that are great for pure conquest gameplay, albeit maybe *too* easy for some - Lanius, Caesar's famous general sent out to conquer New Mexico before the Dam war - Any of the South Nevada starts (around TV Town), there's a BoS outcast, some mobsters, Fallout 2's rejected chosen one (Kaga) and finally former NCR rangers gone wild - Most BoS nations are ok for a first timer, but I would suggest to avoid Mojave (somewhat RNG based) and Lost Hills (although as long as you're in peace, which can last forever, you're okay, your main issue will be to support your fellow BoS chapters across the whole map like it did in this video). I personnally largely enjoy playing Maxson with Lanius not far - There's also the Super Mutant nations that are fun : Troll Warren (in Oregon), Shale, Austin & Ironmongers (all 3 in Texas), each with its own twist - New Canaan if you want some challenge as a mormon nation - And finally, there are other specific nations such as the Rio Grande, Hangdogs (Colorado), Standing Rock (Dakota), Twin Mothers (Colorado, also a robot nation), the Texan BoS (which is actually republican-lined), the 2 large South mexicans, MacArthur (in Montana, an Enclave nation), Mirelurk (eldrich-inspired nation), almost all canadian nations from Passkeepers to Three Rivers (notably Manitoba, Strathcommune, Loid and so on) And of course many other "more minor" nations with plenty of content, but the ones I've given here are basically the ones that fit the most for a KZbin video, the issue with this mod is that there is a TON of lore & immersion content and some nations are almost entirely composed of it, while some others sadly lack to get enough focuses to be interesting on their own
