That trunk trim is just an STI accessory offered from Subaru. They make STI branded parts compatible with the WRX but that is in fact a WRX. I have a 2019 WRX so interested to see what you do with it!

The DIT you saw on the engine cover stands for FA20 2.0 Liter 4 cylinder horizontly opposed direct injection turbo. This engine has also won 2015,s Ward,s 10 best engines award on december 12th 2014. I hope this information i provided to you helps you out?

34ks with stock dunlops on it still, doesn't sound like it was tracked or abused imo. solid find for 7gs. heat soak with stock top mount is noticeable especially once u go stage 2, computer pulls timing. intercooler, egr delete and dyno tune these things move for fairly cheap

@@DannyTV7 not really, you will be surprised how much is different. STI runs a 2.5Litre EJ25 vs the WRX FA20T, gearbox is way better and stronger in the STI (non cable linkage) and has electronic centre diff vs WRX viscous. Rear diff is LSD and ratio is different in the STI runs the bigger R180 diff. Finally drive shafts are different (not 100% on the latest model), brakes on STI are 6pot Brembos with rear brembos. Do some mods to the WRX is it’s a great road car. If you are going to do track days the STI out the box is what you want.

That's a nice Subaru. It shouldn't be much trouble to repair it. Surprising that the insurance hadn't fixed it. That's the sort of vehicle that gets a Parts Title here in Australia. They don't let you repair much over here.

@@DannyTV7 The vehicles go to auction, the same as you have there. Junk yards buy a lot of the ones with Parts Titles. If it's a Salvage Title (Repairable Write-off) the vehicle can be repaired, but the inspection fee is around $1,000, so it's often not worthwhile repairing them.

No such thing as a parts or salvage title in Australia! It's either listed on the written off vehicle register which cannot be re-registerd for road use or can be re-registerd as a repairable writeoff.... fool.

Copart kinda sucks. They charge $53 per month just to be registered. Waiting for a good deal takes money out of your pockets…sometimes takes 2-3 months to find a good deal that you might pick up for $2k-$3k, plus licensing, title, and monthly charges. It takes on a good bit. Not only that, but you’re also bidding against dealers, with a budget, probably higher then yours. You should really try some of the free auctions. They have great cars too, that usually go for les.
