Excellent choice for a build and I definitely agree on the straightening out of that panel rather than trying to splice in another one, much less work, this going to look amazing when done. Personally I'd really like to watch the rebuild of the Murano.

My brother thought he could weld without a helmet by squinting. He burnt two slits across his eyes and had to wear eye patches for 3 days. 25 years later he can no longer see to drive.

Awesome work guys! Glad to see more content on the channel again since so many channels seem to be very silent... Stan the man welding without a mask feels bad... I've once welded without a mask when I was a teenager and I woke in the middle of the night blind and very huge pain in my eyes... had to call to the emergency number and pour regular food oil into my eyes so that I could sleep without the painful feeling of having sand in my eyes... after that I've always had the mask on while welding, it was a terrible pain, and I think my eyes are a bit too sensitive to light after that. ;O

That was annoying, running out of gas just when it was getting interesting. I use a gas-less MIG myself, so I don't need gas and I try to keep spare wire on hand. Looking forward to seeing more of the repair. All the best from Queensland Australia.
@bgee4613 жыл бұрын
I used to use flux core, the welds are garbage compared to using gas.
@BrucePierson3 жыл бұрын
@@bgee461 I would agree that using gas produces better looking welds from what I've see on KZbin, but I haven't personally used gas. I'm certainly not a welder, but I've found that my welds are acceptable and quite strong, even if not quite as neat as using gas. It's a case that I may only do welding a few times a year and I can't justify having gas, so I make do with flux-core wire. It suits me for what I do. I also have a 250A inverter stick welder for heavier jobs.
