I'm planning to build one myself, from what I seen I need to build a metal frame, add some metal poles (turnbuckles) and plane from wood on the metal frame, followed my around half an inch thick padding. so what do I do for the ropes? I havent seen anybody that tells me what to put there. As in what the ropes are made out of

Our ropes are made of steel cable with garden hose like material covering it. Some people use real manila rope wrapped in tape. All just depends on preference. In my experience steel cable is the way to go, but real rope looks nicer

For now! I once did a show that used a boxing ring with actual carpets as padding when I first started Indy wrestling.

Worked in ring with Carpet Padding and Gym mats. It was fucking brutal 😂
