1 gallon can, 5L ton of fuel Put a cap full of fuel down both throats of the carburettor,. Set the timing right, it'll light off and fire up first or second go.

We did a tear down (it’s in an up coming video in a few weeks) and I found out why it wouldn’t run. The timing gear off the cam striped the nylon off the cam gear so it was skipping time.

Point the #1 on the distributor to #2 cylinder of the block…….that’s just the way these old 67s were.

the spark knock sound it was making tells me the timing is too high. move the dist. back towards the carb.

If not mistaken don't think points dist. was getting 12v from key power. Really need to check on this when installing or test firing it.

Maybe not a points distributor but a HEI (like the one that was in the engine) uses 12 volts.
